I am think of putting together some Comics based on the Episodes... no story changes... just editing it togther using filtered screen shots and copy and pasting the dialog right out of the script... if this is something others would enjoy - I might continue and try to do the whole series. This is the very early stages and nothing is in stone, colors, placement, shots, titles - so let me know what you think and if anyone wants to help... i could use screen captures of key moments that will be needed as well and blocking advice...

Sounds like a good idea. I'd be interested in seeing what the end product would look like.

I actually had the idea a while back to create an original comic, using that same method. Taking screenshots, only splicing them together from various episodes in order to make a new story.

I thought about what I might use for a story (if you can class a few panels as a "story") but I never got round to building it up... mainly due to the fact that my story idea would have to involve some actual creativity on my part by featuring a ship and a character that hasn't been in any firefly episodes. Still could have nicked them from another show though I suppose.

Actually no.
To be quite honest I didn't register it (there's so many links after all in people's signatures that I've learnt to tune out links at the bottom of posts now.

Silly me.

It looks good so far... only I think the actaul pictures are a little too dark to see, whilst the text boxes stand out more than anything else.

Of course I don't know of any solution, unless you make the pages bigger, so that the pictures are easier to see and you can put the text in better.

Ya, i have a really bright lcd monitor (its appear a little dark but thats also part of the scene in a darkly lit bar) so I assume it will be very dark on a standard PC monitor
