Hello everyone!

Things have been kind of quiet on the dogtag front, but that’s all about to change! I have been out of stock on most of my designs for a while because my supplier chopped off one of his fingers in his engraving machine (who knew making dogtags was that dangerous!) and had to wait for the finger and the machine to get better. Ugh.

At any rate, I just got a shiny box of dogtags in the mail, and most of my designs are in stock again for the moment. I say for the moment because the quantities are kind of small right now. Grab ‘em while you can! I’m backed up about a week on orders right now, but I’ll get your orders shipped as quickly as I can, I promise.

In other news, the River design so many of you have been clamoring for is finished, and I emailed the order to my supplier tonight which means I should have them in a week or two. I’ll have them available for pre-order in my store shortly. The quote I ended up choosing for the back was “No power in the ‘verse can stop me.” It was tough to choose because she has so many powerful lines, but I thought this one was powerful and represented her character from both the series and the movie well. Plus, it comes from one of my favorite River scenes of all time.

I also ordered another new design that is a little more general. One of the most powerful and inspirational sequences in Serenity for me was the “Storm’s getting worse/We’ll pass through it soon enough” exchange between Mal and River. So much so that I designed a dogtag after it. The front says “Storm’s getting worse,” and shows Serenity flying through lightning and rain. The reverse says “We’ll pass through it soon enough,” and has a picture of Mal with one of the most wonderful expressions I’ve ever seen. Mal fans and those who need a little reminder to help them through those tough days, check it out. I emailed the order to my supplier tonight which means I should have them in a week or two. I’ll have them available for pre-order in my store shortly.
