It would make for the shiniest of posts if we could select a fixed width font when posting tables. I'm not picky, any fixed width font would do.

It would also be nice if tabs and consecutive spaces were honored for such occaisions.

Sometimes sites implement "[ code]...[ /code]" to cover all three since such things as fixed width fonts, tabs and spaces for readability are helpful for code as well as tabular data.

An example of where we are posting tables of data
