that the Creator/Executive Producer of Desperate Housewives Marc Cherry is a big fan of Nathan Fillion from Firefly and Serenity and that they should check it out.

Nathan Fillion's character on Desperate Housewives Season 4 was Dr. Adam Mayfair. Dr. as in OBGYN. Husband of Katherine Mayfair.

Desperate Housewives Fourth Season DVD 1st episode commentary

Jeff Greenstein: "Nathan's great. We were big fans of his from Firefly and Serenity. He's a terrific actor and we were thrilled to get him to do the show."

Marc Cherry: "Yeah, and also, maybe, like, the nicest guy you've ever met. - Like truly, truly, charming."

Greenstein: "Chicks dig him."

Also Nathan did a commentary on Disc 2 with Dana.

Desperate Housewives did a five year jump in the story line. And Katherine Mayfair was not wearing a wedding ring. Very obviously shown to us. Word on the Internet is that he is not going to be on the show this season.

Lost, Desperate Housewives and Castle are all ABC. But most Lost stuff is filmed in Hawaii. And we don't know if Castle is being filmed in LA or New York.

Still hoping for a Lost and Desperate Housewives flashback.

Dana who played Katherine said several times in the Couple's commentary with Nathan that she misses him. She agreed to be on Nathan's new show and Nathan said that was a legal binding agreement.

Read on the internet somewhere that she kept asking Marc Cherry if they could do a love scene. Maybe they filmed it already...

Awwww, snif snif snivel!!! Nathan said he and Dana were all over each other in their previous show but it never made the screen. Now this. He said he had worked out so he could do a bare-chested poolside scene. I was holding my breath for it and suddenly the season was over. But of course now I'm hooked on DH, which was totally unnecessary. Sob.

Relax. Relax. Relax.

Remember we got to see the results in a t-shirt in Dr. Horrible.

I saw the previous show Pasadena on some cable network and yeah they were "were all over each other". Hopefully, it will air again especially with Dana staying on Desperate Housewives.

Pasadena has an alert me when it comes on DVD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005JNSN Just signed up. Signed up for Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place a while ago.

Anony1 snip: yeah they were "were all over each other". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wow. Nathan made it sound as if all the truly juicy bits were on the cutting room floor, or in episodes which might not have been shown.

I love the idea of having notification from Amazon when shows come out on DVD! Never even thought of signing up.

BTW, if you want a treat and never saw Adam Baldwin in "Independence Day" give it a shot. He is so young and cute and they filmed him at his real height. Dunno if they extra-blue'd his eyes or if it was the blue uniform. Yummy. 1996 film, getting to be long ago already but the effects remain good and there are some fine performances. (I got it on special at my supermarket from a Father's Day/July 4th display, so perhaps next summer?)

bun Frisky Browncoat I gotta get me one of those

From what I remember reading Nathan's episodes weren't in the original airing of Pasadena. You know like the unaired Firefly episodes. Cable channels can show them. I saw them when they aired on cable a year or so ago. Hopefully, they will again.

Oh, poor Nathan. I think now I remember him saying that. Let's hope the new series is good and gets better treatment.

bun Fruity Oaty Browncoat wondering if I can stay up for NPH on Craig F. tonight and whether or not it will be worth it...
