Where have all the good right wingers gone?

Michelle Malkin is all over this one:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/uc/20100115/cm_uc_crmmax/op_1912637

Seems that on the Food Network, the recent Iron Chef Team Battle with Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse against Bobby Flay and White House Executive Chef Corazon Something ( fergive me, I've forgotten her name, even though I watched. She's cute, and a pretty good cook,tho...), Anyway, they were supposed to be using veggies from the White House Garden. First Mama Michelle did a video appearance, and there was footage of the chefs picking stuff in the Garden.

Turns out tho', that the White House is in DC and Iron Chef Stadium is in New York. So rather than haul the veggies, they gave 'em away, and bought new, fresh stuff at the Farmer's Market in NYC. Same varieties and breeds, but from different sources.

Malkin has this as a deliberate fraud by the Obamas. Not sure what the motive was-- get Mama O's face on The Food Network and influence millions of elitist foodie voters to support health care? Turn out organic veggie snorting yuppies in Massachusetts to vote Democratic in the election to replace Teddy Kennedy? Isn't this a high crime or misdemeanor? Maybe Prez O oughtta resign as this REAL FRAUD is reealed? Maybe he's impeachable over this? His ratings suck, maybe he's vulnerable?

The only thing the Iron Chefs didn't do was to serve Tea, for this to be a tempest in a pot of.

Umm, you DO know that Malkin and Gallagher have admitted to taking money in exchange for hit pieces or favorable editorials, right ?

So, knowing that fact, one must from that point always call credibility and motive into question when reading them - doesn't mean they're automatically lying, but when some admits they're a paid shill, damned if imma take their unsupported word for anything.

Besides, if the white house veggies went to the local soup kitches, rock on!, cause I got no problem with that, none whatever.

Geeze, if they're gonna pick nits over this, I wonder what these same folks woulda had to say about Andrew Jacksons notorious cheese wheel party (open to all comers and be damned the security!) back in 1835 - man, that sounded like one hell of a party.
