Quote: Josh Brolin & Jeffrey Wright Arrest Video: Tasers And Pepper Spray Prosecutors in Shreveport, Louisiana have agreed to drop charges filed against actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright from the movie 'W.' last year after an incident at a bar. In the video, viewers see Brolin and Wright standing hugging as they are sprayed with pepper spray and then separated by cops. Brolin is made to kneel and is handcuffed while Wright gets laid out on the street and repeatedly tasered, as the cellphone camerawoman screams in protests. Other video from patrol cars was also recorded by cop cars last July but not released. Brolin, Wright and five crew members of the Oliver Stone film "W." were arrested on misdemeanor charges at the Stray Cat Club on July 12. Brolin and Wright were charged with interfering with police officers after a disturbance involving a crew member broke out. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/01/06/josh-brolin-jeffrey-wrigh_n_155689.html
Quote:Diane Lane upset at husband Josh Brolin’s arrest, gives an ultimatum to stop drinking. Trouble began for James "Capricorn One 9/11 Inside Job" Brolin's son and Barbra Streisand’s stepson when he and several crew members went out to party on July 11 after finishing up work on Oliver Stone’s biopic, W, in which he plays President George W. Bush. According to a source, as the night wore on, the group got drunker and became too flirtatious with female patrons at Shreveport’s Stray Cat bar. When several local men told Josh and friends to back off, the situation quickly turned violent- and the police pepper sprayed and arrested Josh along with six others, including Jeffrey Wright, who plays Colin Powell in the movie. http://www.celebitchy.com/13227/diane_lane_upset_over_husband_josh_brolins_arrest_issues_an_ultimatum_to_stop_drinking/
Quote:"There's a report out tonight that 24-years ago I was apprehended in Kennebunkport, Maine, for a DUI. That's an accurate story. I'm not proud of that. I oftentimes said that years ago I made some mistakes. I occasionally drank too much and I did on that night. I was pulled over. I admitted to the policeman that I had been drinking. I paid a fine. And I regret that it happened. But it did. I've learned my lesson." —President George W. Bush, CNN Larry King Live, November 2, 2000 http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/bushdui1.html
