It is being reported that Wesley Snipes will be going to jail for three years for not paying his taxes.

The actor failed to file tax returns between the years of 1999 and 2001 and was charged with three misdemeanors stemming from felony tax charges filed against him.

In the three years in which Snipes failed to pay Uncle Sam, he made more than 38 million dollars but in his appeal he stated that the sentence given him was unreasonable.

He has a point here as people who commit real crimes are slapped with less when it comes to jail time but maybe the court is trying to make an example of him.

He claims that he was tricked by his tax accountent into not filing, as he was told that there was no law against not filing taxes.
