Whenever I'm feeling a bit down, nothing can boost my spirits like watching the documentary "Ghosts of Rwanda". To think that it could have been avoided makes it taste even better. Think about it...Is there anything better than watching hundreds of thousands of Africans hack each other into little tasty morsels?...Children and women were also on the menu! It has me in stiches whenever the camaraman pans over the mounds of bodies. Is there anything funnier? Oh...Good times.

It may seem horrible to a few of you, but always remember what Clinton said..."If the memory of Genocide keeps out just one illegal Mexican...It was well worth it"....

Hundreds of thousands didn't hack "each other." There were a few hundred who hacked everyone else.

It wasn't just Clinton who ignored it. The entire UN Security Council, together with the rest of the world, ignored it. Even Canada ignored it.

A few people cared, like General Roger Dallaire from Canada, who refused to be evacuated and tried to tell the world even when it fell on deaf ears. And a US military person did send General Dallaire some vehicles he badly needed to transport refugees.

It was a human tragedy we should never forget. I would never forget it.

I think it's important that folks realize that it wasn't just the U.S. who sat and did nothing.

"The modern definition of 'racist' is someone who is winning an argument with a liberal."

Yes, it was not just the US, it was the US and France. No, wait, it was just us.

When the UN resolution came in allowing international intervention, France, who was backing the wrong side, abstained. US, under direction of Clinton, and in the person of then ambassador Madeline Albright, Vetoed it.

That it against international law to intervene.

When the death toll stood at 1 million, finally, the US, given our high moral standing on the issue, was allowed to intervene. Fighting had died down and a govt. had been established. Clinton took the opportunity to fly in munitions by the megaton. That seems to be what had been stopping the conflict, people were out of ammo, at least the people doing the killing.

Directly following, violence flared up again, spilling across borders. 7.7 million ethnic east african tutsi and related groups were killed, and 400,000 hutus, but the hutus killed were tutsi sympathizers. It was illegal for tutsis to own weapons, and had been for years.

This was Clinton's most impressive genocide, but there were others: Iraq, Yugoslavia.

Clinton wasn't just a bad president, he is one of the worst humans ever to have lived. He deserves his place up there with Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

And... He's still alive, and still in power.

Kane, thanks for the reminder. You may be bat$#!+ fucking insane, but sometimes you bring up salient points.

The sarcasm was tacky though. You should have added [/sarcasm]
