DREAMTROVE

My sister is in the ER. She has lesions on her brain, they don't know from what. Pennsylvania pouring out its used fracking fluid a half mile away is probably not helping, but my first bet would be Lyme disease, it's a major problem in NY, though less so around us, here. The third option is cancer. There are less likely fourth and fifth options: Could be water contamination at the base, no land use regulation on military land, or an injury, but there's not really an injury that would be suspect.

Best case scenario at this point is possible chemical contamination of some sort, because at least that doesn't spread, you just have to move. Lyme disease is possibly treatable with injected antibiotics. Cancer is obviously the worst case scenario.

Anyway, I may disappear at any point and haul my ass up there. Whatever this is, it progressed very rapidly.

Oh lord, DT, I'm so sorry! It's hard to say "I hope it's contamination", but obviously that's the "best" (?) answer.

We'll all be pulling for her, you know that, and what you're having to go through as well. I guess all anyone can do at this point is hold a good thought. I sure will.

Way too soon to tell, I would say large. It seems to span the left side of her brain. This is very serious.

I'm really about to have to run out here, so my apologies to Anthony et al on discussions about policy on taxation and resource development, I actually don't have time for this right now. Maybe we can revisit it later after things settle down. It's about a 5-6 hour drive to the hospital from here, there's about a foot of snow, it's still snowing, and I might have to make this drive tonight. Also, I don't exactly have a roadworthy vehicle. I have to take my mom up there too, what with the broken shoulder, she can't drive.

Anyway, I must run.

Back. I'm not heading out tonight, there's nowhere to stay and no visiting, she's in getting more tests. They think that it's a large tumor in the back of the brain, cutting off circulation. It looks like it might be chemical contamination, reducing tumor suppressant genes. She is apparently the third person from her work to come in this year with a brain tumor. This is trouble.

It might not be the fracking waste dump though, it might be the military base land use regulation exemption. It's looking more like it's environmental.

Hopefully it's operable. Anyway, headed up there for tomorrow morning, I will be gone for the rest of the week.

The timing of these does correspond to the opening of the new fracking waste dump last year. No one was told about this, we had to find out about it a month ago or so from fractivists.

But they're thinking this is not cancer or infection, but a benign tumor brought on by some immune suppressant toxicity, probably on site at the military hospital. It's a VA center, but it's adjoining large amounts of military land, and not far from the toxic waste dump.

Right now, we're just praying for survival and a speedy recovery. If all goes well, we will have to look into whatever is fishy that's going on. Or anti-fishy.

I'm naturally suspicious of myself, in that I'm into the fracking, so I see fracking in this, and maybe there's no connection, but it has to be something like that, and the timing is very coincidental. Maybe radioactive goo too, I don't know. There are not that many people on staff, three brain tumors patients in one year from the same place is anomalous.

Oh, head ache. Woke up too early.
I guess it's one of those minor headaches, not the ones where you said "It feels like there's this big brain tumor in the back of my head" which is what my sister said about a week ago. I guess that was a pretty good analysis. I've often wondered about this, I had this weird dream once where I could feel my whole brain being unraveled. Man, I'm tired.

Surgery tomorrow morning. Its up and down right now, well know soon enough.

Right now doctors are confirming chemical contamination as the cause, and don't suspect cancer.

This is in the language center and I won't know more until tomorrow, I might not be able to post, but if I am, I'll post some update.

CTS

Process of elimination

They ruled out metastatic because the tissue was all brain matter. They ruled out virus, because though a commonplace virus was present, it wasn't in high enough levels. They ruled out genetics, because though she has a genetic condition, it was the wrong type of tumor and mutation. There were enough chemical risk factors and no radiation, plus, radiation was more likely have caused other signs. The major suspect is her work, which is listed as a chemical hazard site, and the other is the local water supply.

What did the damage is unknown, but it has made me take this issue even more seriously: no amount of contamination is acceptable. More though, now, because I have the scientific background, I will have to start right in on medical research and leave the political battles to someone else.

This represents a major li change. We are all quitting our jobs to devote more energy to this, I'll be trying to set up an online network next year for open source research. I'll keep checking in here, and wish everyone luck in their battles on TPTB. I will try to help when I can, I'm going to be occupied for a while. This all turned out much worse than we thought, but for now she is doing well, so there is still hope.

Everyone should check out newseek's latest nonsense on water as a commodity, it was the scary story I was reading in the waiting room. My mom was reading one about Bush increasing mining rights from 1% of land to 40%. all scary and very ironic, given that this was while we were waiting for results.

The surgery itself took four and a half hours, far longer than expected. This is still very scary.

Thanks for the sentiments and wishes, what would be really helpful right now is anyone who is really familiar with the subject, and I'm sorry, I will have to abandon a lot of otherwise interesting debates, I'm going to have to commit myself to this task. I'll try to stick around and contribute, but don't be surprised if I just step out of any debate, time is of the essence here and will be for a while.

Don't know. What would Simon do? Bust into the hospital and smuggle her onto a space ship. Thats not going to help here.

Okay, breaking down the problems. We have a lot of research to do. I can't think right now.

My first advice to everyone is to get out of the range of anywhere that is currently being toxified. This cancer only took two months to develop.

When I can settle in I can start to take this apart piece by piece. We need to find out what science is already out there that has been blocked by our American overlords, ive see a lot of conspiracy theories that they have been making a two tier health system, wheee there are some treatments that they keep only for the elites, which is what they want to do with stem cells. I can't see that stem cells would help here,

It'll take a while to think. I guess my next thought is what supplements can someone take that increases their survival chances. And what might block cancer growth without blocking other growth, what might be a chemo agent that would go right to the brain, and not effect normal body healing.

I guess anything that anyone can find on research that has been done.

Sussing out the cause is another issue, it's going to be some on site contamination. Something in the water, but at the moment that seems less critical except for the warning to everyone, be careful about your water. We all need ways to test our water.

the cure part of it is more important than the blame.

My sister is talking straight again, mostly. The tumor was removed, but she will still have to go through chemo, radiation, etc. We await a toxicology report, but the doctor is fairly certain he already knows what it will say: waterborne toxins were responsible. This is in part because it's the third case he's had from the same employer, being this specific office of the govt.

Has anyone else encountered spontaneous cancer from a US military base? I know five cases personally, and all were young. It's seems highly irregular, and the cancers were all incredibly virulent compared to any others I've encountered.

Another curious comment: When she was having trouble with nouns, the nurses were impressed that she came up with the word hospital.

Sis said "well, I work in a hospital"
Nurse: "You've been in a hospital before?"
Sis "Many times, but I also work in one"
Nurse "When we're you in a hospital?"
Sis "I work in one. For the last twelve years"
Nurse "12 years ago?"
Sis "Yes, and until today"
Nurse "you are in the hospital today, yes."

These words were all very clear, not at all mumbled.

I thought, Okay, so my sister couldn't say nouns, other that a few ones very familiar to her, like hospital, because after all, she works in one. But a lot of people work in hospitals. Somewhere around a million Americans. It can't be an unheard of event that a patient would be someone who worked in a hospital.

I've noticed this many other places in society. I think the idea that you can cross the threshold from personnel to customer, across the levels of authority, is instinctively rejected by the trained human mind. Maybe this is what prevents police from being arrested, some internal assumed class structure, so rigid that when confronted with a clearly stated fact, the recipient is unwilling to accept the information.

Anyway, she's feeling a lot better

What the docs wont tell you:

Mold in her home? Breath it and it grows into your brain. Some say cancer is a fungus that grows exactly like a plant's roots.

Alkaline body pH restricts cancer. Kidney damage from chemical toxins causes acidic pH. A teaspoon of baking soda in warm distilled water costs less than 1-cent per dose. Baking soda IV cures cancers.

BYO nutrition to the hospital, including raw foods and fresh juicing.

Sauna is the #1 medical invention to eliminate toxins and kill infection.

Garlic is the #2 medical cure to eliminate toxins and kill infection.

Doctors are the #1 cause of death in USA. Most drs and nurses never wash their hands. Hospitals are the #1 source of infection. Personally wash all surfaces in your hospital room, daily. Wearing a mask is probably a good idea.

Read a PDR for side effects on every drug used, because drs wont.

Family must double-check and approve every med and procedure BEFORE its administered by drs or nurses. Dont want the wrong bodypart amputated.

Dont volunteer as a lab rat for "clinical trials"...30% get the placebo (they're the lucky ones).

NEVER SIGN AN ORGAN DONOR CONTRACT...

Prayer heals. God helps those who help temselves.

Merry Xmas. BYO tree.

"Fluoridated water" is radioactive water, since uranium is part of the uranium hexafluoride compound in nuke bomb factories. 1,000s of tons of uranium hexafluoride must be disposed of every year, so why not sell it to stoopid cities to put in the drinking water? Fluoride also causes cancers. Fluoride is both an insecticide and rat poison.

Beat the eugenics genocide project...buy a water filter that specifically remove fluoride, and it will surely remove the uranium.

Its very hard to detect alpha radiation, which is actually gamma rays and x-rays at point-blank range in the body.

Cellphones and wifi cause brain cancers.

Thanks.

New

Suspect: airborne toxins enter the CNS much more readily. It sort of has to be a neurotoxin, because normal carcinogens would causes dozens of other cancers for each brain cancer. All three employees had worked in same office. Normal cleaning products, CFCs, dust removers, are now a main suspect

The best looking treatment option is a stem cell monoclonal antibody therapy which was created for mice in 2006, and humans in 2009.

Pathology report is due on Tuesday.

Not to burden people with personal tragedy, but another member of my family died this morning, he was diagnosed with cancer and given two weeks to live, and died overnight.

In both his and my sister's cases, months of misdiagnosis came first. No one is doing early cancer screening, it something to look out for.

Look up everything before you use it, and found out what your work is using. If its in their air or water, you're consuming it, just as much as if you'd bought it yourself. It doesn't help my sister that she has all these green products at home if everything the VA is using is toxideathinol.

Yes, I knew about Bush's actions, and they horrified me at the time. I don't think a lot of people are aware of how many things he did to worsen our exposure to contaminants to enhance corporate profits...and by the way, Obama reversed some of that stuff...just to say.

The amount of contamination in America is horrific; I don't think it can be avoided no matter WHAT you do. Of course it's worse in many other countries, but that's no excuse.

I wish you luck in your endeavors; the big question is, whatever you discover, is there any way to bring about change? That's my doubt; we all live in a world of Russian Roulette, depending on where we live, what we eat, drink, etc., etc. I don't think anyone's safe, but certainly people especially at risk should be dealt with. I hope things turn out all right for her...

Sig,

It's a va hospital, adjoining a military cemetery, so it's under both land jurisdictions. The VA ia usually very health conscious, but the statistical correlation is brain rumors at work. There's a fracking waste dump for Pennsylvania nearby, but some cases predate it. I think there may have been dumping going on for a while.

Thanks for the sympathy, at the moment im not up for politics, I don't think either party has been effective on this issue for a while, and nothing has changed recently, outside of our own outgoing gov. Paterson, who I think really gave it a solid try, and did get some stuff done, clearly not everything. Honestly, I would rather keep Paterson than have any change, and am not at all sure that national politics is at work here, but I just don't have the time or energy to focus on it now, I have to focus on science. Blame is not particularly important, the purpose of establishing correlations is to understand the problem, it does no use to try to combat a cancer if a local environmental factor is defeating you at the same time.

I wasn't trying to "rope" you into a political discussion, DT, sorry it seemed that way. The environment is something I feel strongly about, and watching what's been done to it and what that's done to people pisses me off. The fact that we've got people who can't be around normal household stuff or even HOUSES has shown me just how far it's gone, and I feel helpless about it, and about situations like yours. That's all.

I hope she's feeling better after having it gone, and she has my full sympathy at having to go through chemo...gawd, that's gonna be awful for both of you!
