Arizona sues Dictator Hussein Obama for failing to enforce immigration laws

Phoenix – Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer announced the filing of a lawsuit against the U.S. government for its "failure" to enforce immigration laws.

The suit is a response to the Justice Department's efforts to overturn Arizona state law SB1070, a measure aimed at criminalizing undocumented immigrants. The legislation's most controversial provisions remain on hold pending a ruling by the federal courts.

"Our message for the federal government is simple," the Republican governor said Thursday at a press conference. "Use federal resources to attack the cartels who are breaking federal law. Don't attack Arizona which is helping to enforce federal law."

State Attorney General Tom Horne, who accompanied Brewer during the announcement, said Arizona's countersuit is based on five points.

The first is the federal government's failure to gain "operational control" of the border; second, its failure to enforce multiple immigration laws; third, for not protecting Arizona from the economic damage and violence associated with illegal immigration, as ordered by the U.S. Constitution.

Fourth, the federal government's negligence in not paying the state of Arizona more than $760 million in expenses for jailing undocumented criminals; and finally, for impeding Arizona from exercising its constitutional right to protect the health and well-being of its citizens.

Besides battling the Justice Department suit over SB1070 and filing a countersuit, Arizona has joined other states in trying to take to the U.S. Supreme Court the debate on the interpretation of Amendment 14 of the Constitution, which grants citizenship to everyone born on U.S. soil, whatever their parents' immigration status might be.

Arizona is estimated to have close to 460,000 undocumented immigrants, most of them Hispanics. Some 12 million undocumented aliens are estimated to live in the United States nationwide.
