Anyone want to guess what it'll make opening weekend here in the U.S. of A? My guess is $140 million.

So, are there any projects for the Dark Knight Rises? I think that will sort of be the measuring point.

Well dang I guess Avengers is pretty much destined to get beaten by Dark Knight Rises.

Box Office Mojo is predicting $580 million for Avengers and $850 million for Dark Knight.

I wouldn't be shocked if the rotten economey kills alot of repeat business, I bet "The Hunger Games" and "The 3 Stooges" would be doing better if people could afford to go see them 3 or 4 times. I plan on seeing it, "Men in Black 3" and "Abraham Linclon: Vampire Killer" just once.

www.deadline.com is reporting that Marvels (not Jos Whedon's) "The Avergers" has made $178.4 million over seas so far. I'm sure Joss will get most of credit after it becomes a huge hit here in the U.S.
