Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

I heard on the radio today that 600 million Indians have lost power over the past two days due to infrastructure concerns. This is a terrible blow to a nation who has been making impressive strides towards becoming a formidable 21st century power. Just as they have become accustomed to these modern amenities, they are collapsing.

I sometimes wonder what the status of our own infrastructure is.

America loves a winner!

I'm hearing that part of the problem is that they shut down some coal powered plants, and now can't keep up w/ demand.

Dunno if that's true or not. I'd like to hear what's the cause. Terrible. Over 2x's the population of the USA w/ out any power.
