I saw an add explaining how Mitt Romney gave this guy's wife cancer and I realized that Obama killed my mother.

You see my mom died of cancer a couple of years ago. That was after President Obama passed his health care plan. Most of the plans provisions would not go into effect right away. In fact its taxes first then health care (unless you are one of the special exempted groups). Clearly by not implementing his program right away my mother could not benefit from it...therefore he killed her.

I should have expected this from a guy who did not graduate from college (I heard that from Harry Reid's friend). Its no wonder he will not release his records...he didn't go to college or if he did he didn't graduate.

The truth of the matter is, that's exactly what happened. If I drink or smoke for 30,40,50 years, get lung cancer or my liver goes out, should anyone else have to pay for my healthcare ?

Who owns you ?

What the romney surrogate actually said was that if she'd lived in Massachussets, she'd have been covered under RomneyCare, which is amusing given how much effort Romney has put forth to distance himself from RomneyCare!

So in other words, you're arguing that if Obama had passed the A.C.A. SOONER, it would have covered your mother. (My deepest condolences on that, by the way.) That's one helluvan argument, given the Republicans haven't put forth ANYTHING that would do as much for the uninsured, and Obama's been the only one with the ball to do so.

Hero is trying to pick up some of the right-wing stupidity slack, since Rappy has pussed out lately.

Note to anyone - Please pity the poor, poor wittle Rappyboy. He's feeling put upon lately, what with all those facts disagreeing with what he believes.

"Goram it kid, let's frak this thing and go home! Engage!"

Reason is as wasted on the lawyer as on the Raptard.

This campaign may get soooo nasty that you libs may lose what few conservative friends (if you have any) you've got left, do ya's really hate us that much? There will come a point where we'll just not want to be around you libs anymore, is that OK with you? There is a line, go ahead and step over it, you libs then can hang with just yourselves and us right-wing wackos will leaves ya's alone.

Is that a promise? If so show me that line so I can gleefully leap across it!

Why does he think we "hate" conservatives? Or is that the only way he and those like him can think: "We hate you, so you must hate us!"

As to right-wing whackos, I'd be quite happy if they left us alone...alas, I doubt it will ever happen. They hate us too much and they want the power to tell everyone what to do too much. Shame, really...

Yes it's a promise. Find the line yourself. It won't be hard for you.

If pointing out lies and flasehoods makes someone not want to be my friend - GOOD. Becuase if they're going to get butt-hurt by facts, fuck 'em. And you.

So, consider this me dancuing across your dumb-ass little line. Now, feel free to fuck right off.

KWICKO

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

Meanwhile, the anti-Romney ad in question is a bit of political genius by the superpac involved.

It's distanced from the Obama campaign and the President himself. The ad was made by a pro-Obama superpac, not by the Obama campaign itself.

It *implies* some things, but doesn't state them outright, and the events that are mentioned in the ad did take place, as "Hero" pointed out.

The ad has never aired as a commercial, and may never do so. That's the political masterstroke; the ad was made, then was given to the media or leaked, and everybody has been talking about this week. It's being shown over and over in the news; the Obama campaign doesn't have to say anything, and the Romney campaign is stepping all over its dick trying to blast the ad and inadvertently blasting itself in the process. A Romney spokesman basically made the claim that if the woman talked about in the ad had lived in Massachusetts, she would have had insurance coverage - which ISN'T the message the campaign wants to put out there right now!

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero
