Has anyone else noticed how COZY little rappy and ZIT are lately? It's so sweet. The ZIT and his bagel widda schmeer of pure ZITness on it, and little rappy with, well, whatever he brings to the occasion. They were made for each other.

A geekworthy comparison of the conventions:

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Yeah, that's a pretty lame effort, Kwickie.

Michelle is praying she gets to keep using AF-1 for her trips to Paris, London and Hawaii, just as Obama can't wait to get another 100+ rounds of golf in, all on the public dime.

Nice post, Kwik. And it probably works, too, given the Rappenfuhrer's response to it: if it wasn't doing some good, he wouldn't have to resort to his puny attack on it, especially starting off with his tiny, tacky ad hominem attack on Mrs. Obama.

'S all he's got.

Speaking of golf, how many times did shrub.......er, I mean Bush, go to his ranch in the fine state of Texas. How many doggies did he punch in his 8 years fiddling around the Oval orifice, er, I mean the Lazy B ranch in Crawford?

How is it that Romney and Ryan never mention Bush or Cheney during their little shindig in Tampa? Huh, riddle me that rawhide breath! How come? Huh!?

Hey, this is fun!

Somehow, I doubt he'd have any problem with Ms.-Never-Worked-A-Day-In-Her-Life Romney using AF1 to cart her dancing horsies around the globe. Somehow, when Republicans do it, it's not wasteful at all - in fact, it's downright PATRIOTIC!

Pretty sure there's no golf course at the Crawford Ranch. And I don't recall seeing any cattle on the property either.

And the term is " punching DOGIES ", not doggies. Doggies are what Obama ate, in his youth.

Why should they ? They're not Bush or Cheney. They're their own men. Unlike Obama, who has literally nothing to run on, and must resort to the faded glory of a past 1 timer like Carter and an impeached, disbarred liar in chief in Clinton.

A "ranch" with no cattle. What a novel concept. Really brings home the meaning of the term used to describe Shrub: All hat, no cattle.

You mean they're what Mittens straps to the roof of his car come vacation time, right?

So you're telling me that Romney *ISN'T* using almost-exclusively Bush/Cheney people in his campaign?

And does this mean that the right will never bring up Reagan again, or do y'all only do that because you have literally nothing to run on?

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Unfortunately, there are bigoted, small-minded people in the world, far too many of them, in every political party , there always have been. It's a shame, but a sad fact of humanity. But trying to point it out with regard to the Dems is funnier than hell in how easy it is to point to the Repubs in return:

D'ja catch "this guy's a liberal idiot", "I know he is"...because he asked questions?

The difference is that the right (especially the tea party) are intolerant of regular human beings, not just people on the "other side". The intolerance on the right has been shown by their words and actions time and time again. To hold up a few ignorant convention goers in order to slam the whole DNC is really pretty lame; but go right ahead if you want, on the point of which party is more bigoted, people already know the truth.

(Goes into other things after 1:03, but the quote from a Baptist PASTOR makes the point)

How about how they treated a Black camerawoman at their convention?

The right's intolerance spreads to many, many people, from homosexuals to African Americans to Latinos to Democrats and on and on. To point out a few people at the DNC convention who are bigoted against Republicans, in contrast, makes no point at all.

He probably doesn't even realize that 9/11 was 7.5 years before Obama took office...

Oh gawd, Mike, that's hysterical! Some of the stuff that comes out of their mouths I just shake my head at--so much of it is verbatum Limbaugh or FauxNews, and when asked WHY or WHAT, they have no answer. You don't need more than 30 seconds of any of these to get the idea:

Such as two years ago, questioned about Obama:

Or this one:

I love this one from Barney Frank:

I know Americans in general are pretty ignorant, but in my opinion, Republican voters often take the cake.

I started the thread, which contained the link. Commenting " there could be grins " CLEARLY indicates my view that I find this to be humorous. The 'comment' is implied. The video speaks for itself, with the case it makes, but I wanted to see what others thought. To date, I don't see you or ANY one comment on the posted link, on the substance of the video linked.

All I see is combative, adversarial " oh yeah? Well, Republicans are dumb! And racists ! ".

Typical.

Talk about humorous. Nobody is fooled; we all know why he put up the video, and it had nothing to do with finding it humorous. Raptor's comments are perfectly clear and indicate HE didn't find it funny, either, just another convenient way to diss the Dems. His right and privilege, but trying to spin his way out of his motivation is absurdly funny.

C'mon..it's Jon Stewart! You worship this stuff ! Good grief!

Niki - My motivation wasn't in question here. It never should be. But if you can't see the irony here, especially w/ the last line of the video, then I suggest you go play w/ your puppies some more. ( Not that it'll do you any good, but just because you can! )
