Those pictures ^ are not realistic. I already know what Niki, Chris, and some others look like from pictures they've posted before.

In general terms these pictures are far more accurate of RWED visages .....

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Wow! Wow, Magons, you are GOOD! If I'd thought about having a mental picture of people here and had the imagination to find them, those would be EXACTLY what I'd think of!! Keep going, please! How about Kiki, Six (funny...had fingers in the wrong place for a sec, "Six" came out "Dic"), Agentrouka, Anthony (who I miss!), Mal4, Dreamtrove? And Mark, where's Mark?!? And of course, YOURSELF! It wouldn't be fair to ask about Brenda, as she's still too new for any of us, I think, to get a "view" of her, but keep it up, you're doing great!

For myself, I am waaaay beyond honored, but can't say it's necessarily accurate. I adored Mary's character in "Dances" and would like to think I could be like her, and have had a crush on Mary the actor for a long time. I'm definitely unconvinced I deserve the comparison or ever could.

But as for the rest of us, I'm impressed. Muchly. But very saddened by Jong. For a while there, after we exchanged views, I really respected him, but his writing style, especially when it comes to liberals, has slowly eroded that respect to the point where I've pretty much lost it now.

Tit for tat got us where we are today. If we want to be grownups, we need to resist the ugliness. If we each did, this would be a better reflection on Firefly and a more welcome place. I will try.

Awww, Chris, yer cute. And, weirdly enough, you look JUST like I thought you would! That wasn't the case at all for Frem or Mark, but you look JUST like "you".

Nah, Frem...the other one is better. Don't think of it as Kevin Spacey or the part he was playing, just squint and think of it as "a person". It's him!

Ooops, you just added more. Excellent, especially Wulf and Mike...(tho' Wulf should be the same person, only younger). I think the other two of Chris (not the real one) were closer. I HOPE your vision of our Non-Hero is HIS vision of himself, not yours! And thank you for the first, and quintessential, Raptor!

Y'all give me too much credit - and too much good looks! My older brother looks a bit like Liam Neeson; he's got the same eyes and nose, anyway. I'm a bit more Joey Ramone - enough so that I went as him a few times for Halloween parties.

Truth is I was indeed very straight and serious as a young man, although not to the degree of Alex P. Keaton. Going to college in 1970 I wandered off into hippie-land, but by 1975 I was back in the real world working at my first good job. Got married and had our first child. We had officially turned into our parents.

Actually by now I am a bit past 40, and a teensy bit more worn looking.
Although thinkin about it Mad Max isn't too far off my full kit work gear, just with less hair - if I can finagle it I'll see about a pic when I suit up tonite.

Just kidding - Fifi belonged to a friend of mine in upstate NY, and would eat just about anything that wasn't nailed down, she had me pegged as an easy mark right away too cause it was all too obvious who she woke up when no one else would give in, yeah.

My Ex's cat Ghoster is like a half-size Fifi and with a personality which reminds me of Beaky Buzzard from the old merry melodies cartoons - but if you want real intimidation there's Sennys cat Fiyo, all full of Boston rage and with the most evil little teeth in creation, he bit her by accident just playing and it was... horrific, and he's a LITTLE guy!

That's still younger than what I pictured (grey hair figured heavily) but makes a lot more sense.

Nice work outfit! Goes well with the expression on your face, hehe.

Whoa! I much prefer the big, lazy, easy-going cats. Much less bloodshed that way and we can share out interest in extended napping in peace. The small, wiry ones tend to recognize me as prey. Nothing like waking up to a cat chewing your feet.

As I said to AR, who directed me to this thread, I don't really think of you guys in terms of movie comparisons.

Although I have mentioned to Frem that he's something straight out of a PI Noir or something. So I've joked before about kind of a wood shack with a bare bulb, bad lighting, and stark contrasts, a desk with boots up on it and littered with rum and gun parts, and basically no sane person would barge in there unless they were welcome.

That is really the only thing I can contribute.
