It was revealed yesterday that she recently underwent a double mastectomy to fight off cancer. I wish her a speedy recovery and good health.

Moi aussi. But there are now so many threads going, this is becoming overkill. Go right ahead, but I think the only result will be a lessening of interest in RWED except for us hard-core types who spend a lot of time here. I think that's sad; I hope you accomplish whatever it is you think you're accomplishing before you kill this place completely...or is your intent just to drive away everyone who doesn't agree with you?

I post articles that are of interest to me, and I respond to replies that are the same. And I reply to others' threads that are of interest to me too. What's your beef? The amount of 'em? Considering the lopsided nature of this place, I think I couldn't put up enough of them.

Isn't the issue that the chances are very high with this gene that you will develop cancer ie much more likely to than not.

A pre emptive masectomy means that you significantly reduce the risk, especially as the treatment, even if successfull is pretty horrific in itself.

I dunno. Hare choice. I can see how you might be tempted.
