WARNING!!!! If you take photos with your cell phone

“Warning” If you, your kids or grand kids take pics from your phone—WATCH THIS!

This is truly alarming – please take the time to watch. At the end they’ll tell you how to set your phone so you don’t run this risk!

PLEASE PASS THIS INFO TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO TAKES PICTURES WITH THEIR CELL OR SMART PHONE AND POSTS THEM ONLINE.

I want everyone of you to watch this and then be sure to share with all your family and friends.

It’s REALLY important info, about what your posting things on your cell phones can do TO YOU!!!

Too much technology out there these days so beware………..

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO WATCH THIS VIDEO, AND TAKE THE RECOMMENDED PRECAUTIONS.

If you have children or grandchildren you NEED to watch this. I had no idea this could happen from taking pictures on the blackberry or cell phone. It’s scary.

Resizing images in photoshop eliminates the GPS threat.

America loves a winner!

Just turn off the location option on photos. Problem solved.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

Riiiiiiiiight, and "turning off" that option on a menu ACTUALLY disabling it is very credible in light of current events exactly...umm, how ?

I put those so-called "options" in the bullshit customer pacification realm right along with promises not to spam you or sell your information, which is of course the very first thing they do, promises aside.

Hell, you wanna see an even darker, uglier shade of just such problems, here's a good example.

The amount of what I call "ratware" in most peoples lives these days is appalling, even in places they'd have no idea to even look, like the EDR and other black boxes installed in cars these days - a new game with that is thieves accessing the info from those by remote and then crossreffing it with the wide-open automakers databases, allowing them to spoof your supposedly "secure" keyfob to open the doors, as well as the security chip in the keys, and easy as that, your car is gone... and as usual after hanging them out to dry its blame the customer time, yep.

Which is my biggest bitch about the whole she-bang, companies building these databases and leaving that poorly secured, low hanging fruit out there for any creep with half a brain to purloin, and then blaming the customer when that info is stolen and used.
That's of course if they don't just outright sell it themselves and then CLAIM they were hacked, or don't even bother with the pretense, like the credit reporting agencies who'll sell that shit no-questions-asked to any scumbag with a vendor account.

Fact: No hacker worth a damn is going to bother hacking individual machines when those big databases and laying about free for the taking, or they can score whole mail servers instead, allowing access to hundreds of accounts at a blow.

So the problem isn't really on the user end, and the first and primary threat is that those databases exist and are just laying around all but begging to be pillaged, often with laughable security.

Which begs the question of whether or not those big government databases are compromised, not only via inter-agency turf wars (which they are) but potentially by external forces as well.

And THAT, well, it opens a whole nother can of worms, yes ?

Anyhows, best way to keep squealware from snitching on you is not to buy stuff with it built-in if one can help it - MY car opens and operates only with old school metal KEYS, yanno, the kind you put in actual LOCKS ? *sneer*
