I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Don't you get tired of the stale partisan arguments that the media trots out every day as if it were real news? I know I do!

So, now for some REAL NEWS

China adopts BITCoin, quits US dollar.

Quote:

Bitcoin continued its upward ascendancy fueled by a unanimously positive and wild acceptance by the Chinese, at one point with the value touching $900, leaving most of us wondering why we didn’t get in when it was still worth the less than the price of two Xbox Ones.

Now, seemingly out of the blue, China has announced that it would rein in its purchase of US dollars. "It's no longer in China's favour to accumulate foreign-exchange reserves," Yi Gang, a deputy governor at the central bank, said on Wednesday.

.... Meanwhile in Russia, perhaps sensing opportunity to weaken its international rival, there’s a growing movement to ban the US dollar outright, citing America’s growing debt problems, a move the bill’s author admits would be a “provocation” of sorts.

Hmmm.... the petrodollar is dead in all but name. Just think of all of those alignments based solely on that filthy lucre.... the USA-Saudi Arabia (al Qaeda)-Israeli axis. The USA-China-Taiwan axis. The USA-Venzeula axis. Yanno, I'll bet that Bandar "Bush" bin Sultan is beginning to regret all those threats he made to Putin (and to Obama for all we know).

Which is why it appears that the sanctions are being lifted off of IRAN. The USA may have "pivoted" away from Saudi Arabia and towards Iran. I'm sure Netenyahu is fit to be tied, as are the Saudis. Yanno, it's occurred to me that perhaps Obama isn't as stupid as people think he is. The "all of the above" concept of energy development, which put the USA into a better position in terms of fossils fuels, coincidentally (and possibly deliberately) untied our strings to Saudi Arabia. Obama has "bobbled" many Saudi and Israeli operations in the ME. Whether on purpose or by accident, that it s good direction to be heading in. That makes us uneasy allies with Putin, but better Putin than Netenyahu or the Saudi Royal family.

MEANWHILE IN FUKUSHIMA
Tepco has managed to successfully lift out 22 of the over 1000 nuclear fuel rods in storage tank #4. I haven't been griping about the risk of this operation much.... and the risks are plentiful. I still keep an eye on ENENEWS to see whether the whole thing has gone BOOM! But they have to unload this fuel, no matter how risky.

We ALL should be paying more attention to the TPP. Not this isn't the Toilet Paper Process, but the TRANS PACIFIC "PARTNERSHIP", yet another corporate power grab on trade across the Pacific, developed in secret.... well, it's secret from YOU. Corporations have full access to the negotiations.
