As Whozit so skillfully outed me as an MSNBC contributor (watch my show on every weeknight at 7 p.m.), I have decided to use this platform as a harbinger of truth, justice and the American way (sounds familiar don't it).

Christie's doings and goings on are coming to light on a daily basis, that you may need a scorecard. The rotund governor has been a busy bee:

In no particular order............

1. The firing of HGI, hired to oversee Sandy Funds, because!? no one knows why.

As stated in the article, no one knows why. Not the New Jersey DCA, or HUD. At least they have not let on as to why. An HGI spokesperson stated that due to terms of agreement, they cannot comment at this time. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder why?

2. Grand jury reversal - Deborah Trout, a small town sheriff, and a Christie supporter, walks away from a 43-count indictment; overruled by the State AG. Hmmmmmmm, I wonder why?

"The 43-count grand jury indictment read like a primer in small-town abuse of power. It accused Sheriff Deborah Trout of hiring deputies without conducting proper background checks, and making employees sign loyalty oaths. Her deputies, the indictment charged, threatened one of their critics and manufactured fake police badges for a prominent donor to Gov. Chris Christie."

"When the charges became public, the indicted undersheriff, Michael Russo, shrugged it off. Governor Christie, he assured an aide, would “have this whole thing thrown out,” according to The Hunterdon County Democrat. That sounded like bluster. Then the state killed the case."

NY Times article, The Quashing of a Case Against a Christie Ally, dated Oct. 10, 2013; one month before election day for the Governorship of NJ.
The story (before Bridgegate) fell on deaf ears. No one followed up on this story that appeared in the NY Times. THE NY Times.

Now, things are a little different.

3. Dawn Zimmer, Hoboken Mayor - you guys have heard enough of that, but it keeps getting better.

4. Now it's come to light that Christie may have redirected Sandy money, $6 Million, to a small town north of Newark, Bellville, NJ.

Barely touched by Sandy they received money to help build a $18-Mllion senior housing project, that was long in the works before Sandy.

"And the governor's fingerprints are all over it. Christie personally steered $6 million of federal Sandy recovery dollars to the project, a senior center and housing complex that was planned well before Sandy hit. At the ceremonial groundbreaking in Belleville on May 29, Christie recounted how he called Richard Constable, head of the state's rebuilding programs, "every day" to tell him to get relief money to this project:

"We get on them and things get done," the governor said."

And that's the short list..........................
