My old manager got fired yesterday morning...

The very next night everyone on nights got removed.

Cops were hovering around the store on standby when it happened.

Granted I worked a lot harder than the 8 bucks an hour than we were being paid, but non of them worked under it. Everyone I worked with really needed that money.

Fuck the Higher-Ups that did this to them.

I'm not the bad guy here, but that's only because I'm set up....

Why would you even think that anyone here (or elsewhere) would imagine that you're "the bad guy"? YOU could never arrange for your old manager being fired, no matter how hard you tried.

It's messed up, alright, but waaaay more messed up than one bad manager. Far, far beyond that. I'd look upwards, in the direction of "up the food chain".

Therez good and bad about that hole situation. The good iz that they are larjly responsibl for breaking the stranglhold retailerz had on merchandize. The markup in 'regular' storez wuz (iz) robbery.

The Walton family haz bekum rich simply by giving the customerz a fair deal.

Flip side: They pay their employeez, the wunz doing the real work, diddly squat. They squeez the hell out uv their supplierz, the companyz that actually make the products (usually overseaz). Theze companyz hav no choice but to pay their employeez nothing and cut cornerz az much az possible on materialz and overhed. Bottom line being that very little money iz falling into the handz uv American workerz.

Between beating their competitorz and squeezing the peepl who are their customerz, the Walton family haz accumulated more welth than the bottom 42% uv the country.

Rediculous.

Worse iz that us ants down here end up fiting over tiny crumz, like in your story here.
