Sometimes you own the libs. Sometimes, the libs own you.

To say the US elections are shaping up in an interesting way is an understatement... It looks to me like we're heading for a Donald v. Hilary showdown, and the GOP getting crushed in November (or at least losing comfortably).

What do others think? Will The Donald get the nomination, or have it snatched from him? Will he destroy the GOP, or sweep to the presidency, remaking the party in his image? If he loses will the GOP split in two?

Will Hilary cruise to victory, or be dogged by scandals up until November and be rejected at the ballot box? Will Bernie make a late fightback and deny her the nomination?

Any other 2016 predictions while we're at it? Will the Russian 'ceasefires' in Syria and Ukraine hold? Will lasting peace be established, or frozen conflicts? Will the UK exit the EU in June? Will Signy truly boycott the "Russian atrocities in Syria" thread?

I think it possible if Trump wins the nomination that the GOP may conspire against him in the general election. They realize that if he loses the damage may be contained. If he wins and makes a mess of it all, the damage is irreparable. I have heard of one historian who said Bush may be the last republican elected to the office of President. This would be because the party splits or fragments.

now onto the tin foil, UFO, conspiracy stuff???

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich told Fox News' Bill O'Reilly last night that the establishment is scared of Donald Trump because he "didn't belong to a secret society" and wasn't involved in any of the rituals associated with such groups. Discussing Mitt Romney's anti-Trump speech yesterday, Gingrich said it represented "the panic of the establishment wing of the (Republican) Party," and that the prospect of Trump becoming the nominee "absolutely drives them crazy." When asked why, Gingrich responded, "Well because he’s an outsider, he's not them, he’s not part of the club, he's uncontrollable, he hasn't been...

Uninitiated: GOP Insiders Scared of Trump Because “He Didn’t Belong to Secret Society”

It is somewhat surprising that Newt Gingrich, who himself belongs to Bohemian Grove, would discuss secret societies openly on Fox News, but the fact remains that the insiders and the establishment are indeed opposed to any candidate who isn’t “initiated,” “tapped” or otherwise vetted and pledged to their hidden agenda – and above appealing to the interests of average Americans.

The Bushes and Clintons have epitomized membership in these elite secret societies – with Bohemian Grove, Skull and Bones, Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and other insider groups backing their rise to political power, and placing ranking members inside the cabinets and administrations of such presidents.

Is it any wonder that such a self-serving system is falling apart as the public becomes more aware of how things really work?

There is only one thing Presidential candidates are doing now that will have consequences later. Will that one thing get your attention? Probably not, but here it is, anyway:

ernie-sanders-too

I predict that The Tax Policy Center will have zero effect on who is elected President because most voters are very confused by negative numbers when reading about taxes and the National Debt. Semi-innumeracy is like semi-illiteracy, except with numbers rather than words.

What are the consequence from a higher National Debt? The Debt rises under some, but not all, Presidential candidates’ tax plans because the rich will be paying less tax than now. The rich will use the money they did not pay in taxes to buy U.S. Treasury bonds that are part of the National Debt. You might not believe it, but the result of owning more Treasury bonds will be that the rich will have even more control of the USA in the future than they have now. That could be to your advantage in the future, but only you know if you’re the rich.

For Donald, I predict that the Fix is in. The GOP is desperately looking for some way to snatch the nomination away from him, but what's the alternative - Ted Cruz? God help us! Rubio is out. Wait..........there's
always Mittens!

Hilary.............shit, you guys think she's evil. Well, Bernie could always pull out a stunning upset! Naaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!

We're screwed!!!

I will predict Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) will not win re-election in November.
Sadly, this means Russ Finecombed will be given back his seat.
But Johnson was elected under the presumption that he was serious about all that he pledged during his campaign, and backed up by the fact that he was not a career politician. Then he went to DC and did everything he promised not to do, and avoided doing everything he promised he would do.
What a shame he wouldn't let a serious candidate run in his place.

I could also predict that the losing strategy of Trump will result in a duplicate voting map, ward by ward, of Primary results for Trump2016 and Romney2012. If Trump is the nominee, the general results will also look the same.

Are you saying you think Bernie will get more delegates, and votes?
And the MSM will back him?
And Hilliary will not get the nomination despite such results?

I am saying Hillary has acquired two million votes more that Bernie. As we get deeper into this that number will grow exponentially. There will be no stealing of the democratic party. The simple fact is that ( as much as I like Bernie ) she is crushing him.

What planet are you on?
How can Hilliary get 2 million delegates? There are only 4,765 delegates available for the Democrat Convention.
Hilliary has about 1,266 delegates to vote for her and Bernie has about 1,038 delegates to vote for him so far. As of 19 Feb, Bernie was ahead. Now Hilliary has even abandoned the 96 delegates of Wisconsin.

So how does Hilliary have 2 million extra delegates to vote for her?
Are you saying she has a secret stash of 2 million delegates to pull out at the last moment, which nobody else except you know about?

I will admit that it appears the Trump has technically disproven my prediction. He has campaigned in WI in places not solely in the Milwaukee and Madison areas, as Romney refused to do.
Although Trump seems to still cater to and focus on Milwaukee and Madison, and may result in the same voting map, my prediction included the strategy of campaigning only in Democrat-laden wards.
