Some of the exchanges and discussions here have been getting confusing. There are many ways to vote and lean this season.

This is not a request for who you will vote for, but if you choose to enlighten us with who it is you are supporting, it might help the understanding for some of us.

I will start, and provide example of what I meant.

I supported Ben Carson, and when Scott Walker announced his campaign, I had 2 to decide between. Walker had dropped by the time WI had the primary, so I did vote Carson.
After they dropped out, I was willing to support Cruz.
I will not vote Trump or Hilliary. Surprisingly, my lifelong Democrat mother has said the same thing this year.
The candidacies are not all clear yet, but currently I am leaning towards Gary Johnson, already selected as the candidate for the Libertarian Party.
Bernie is not yet out, and has not declared a running mate. No running mate announcements for Hilliary or Trump yet, but for me they are unlikely to matter.

Anybody else wish to chime in?
To be clear, only disclose what you are comfortable with.

1kiki: Anybody but Hillary. Otherwise not known or not decided.
ShinyGoodGuy: Supports Trump.
Signym: Anybody but Hilliary. Likely Stein or Trump, depending on circumstances.

Does anybody here support Trump?
I am not sure of the answer.
I have seen comments by anti-Trumper from the Extreme Left (apparently denying his Liberalism), and I have seen Anti-Trumper comments from the right and moderate right (appalled by his Liberalism, copying Hilliary's), but I don't recall at this moment anybody supporting Trump or his candidacy/campaign.

Any of you?

I won't claim to know who each supports, but maybe I can link to posts which give clues.

Off Topic.

from Wiki
Dwight D. Eisenhower, "Eisenhower entered the 1952 presidential race
as a Republican to counter the non-interventionism of Senator Robert
A. Taft, campaigning against "communism, Korea and corruption."
He won in a landslide, defeating Democratic candidate Adlai Stevenson
and temporarily upending the New Deal Coalition. Eisenhower was the
first U.S. president to be constitutionally term-limited under the
22nd Amendment."

Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr. speaking of Adiai Stevenson II.
"great creative figure in American politics. He turned the Democratic
Party around in the fifties and made JFK possible ... to the United
States and the world he was the voice of a reasonable, civilized, and
elevated America..."

They ran against each other for President in 1952 (I was 9)
& again in 1956. Ike won by a landslide both times.

In his January 17, 1961 farewell address to the nation, Eisenhower
expressed his concerns about the dangers of massive military
spending, particularly deficit spending and government contracts
to private military manufacturers, and coined the term "military–
industrial complex".

Ike was a General hero. We almost worshipped him.
I'm less familiar with Stevenson; believe he came from a long line
of lawyer statesmen. i.e., He was born & trained to govern.

To the best of my recollection, when they ran against each other,
it was a clean campaign across the board. I don't recall ever hearing
a bad word about either one of them. I don't mean the USA had no
corruption. Politics has always been a source of lie-cheat-steal,
do anything to get the power. But Ike & Adlai were well respected
by everyone I knew.

This year, it's "Bring in the Clowns." (sigh)

... oooOO}{OOooo ...

I've given up looking for the meaning of life. Now all I want is a cookie.

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I will vote 'anybody but Hillary'. I haven't made up my mind yet who that specifically means.

Let me just point out that the author left out vital relevant facts in the opinion piece. Doing that is known as cherry-picking. And whether you do that in the news, in discussion, in debate or in opinion, when you distort the facts, you've changed the nature of your communication into propaganda. But WE don't have any of THAT in the US, do we?!

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Anybody but Hillary. It'll be like my vote for "not Obama" last election: it depends on how the polling shapes up. If Hillary is a slam-dunk in CA, then my vote REALLY doesn't count, and I'll vote for Jill Stein (Green) ... who is, by the way, the REAL first female Presidential nominee (2012), not Hillary. If OTOH Trumps stands a prayer of taking CA, I'll probably vote Trump.

I would have voted for Sanders if he'd been on the ticket. But since he isn't mine is a protest vote.

--------------
I think it's time you disabused yourself of that pleasant little fairy tale about our fearless leaders being some sort of surrogate daddy or mommy, laying awake at night thinking about how to protect the kids. HA! In reality, they're thinking about who to sell them to so that they can get a few more shekels in their pockets.

Lots of pointless ranting about elections, but only 3 have a direction?
