Back in 2014 people, me and many other fireflyfans began to predict the end of the Europe system....I posted a thread early in 2016 the End is Nigh for the European system...since then we have seen Brexit, a political unsure and divded Europe, the consequence of dumb wars for example Libya, the growth of islamist groups and ISIS in Iraq and Syria, waves of illegal islamic immigration and lots of moslem migrants flooding into the EU. In France a nationalist Le Pen, lost out to a new 'Macron' all the old political parties destroyed in first round votes, the new France considers sanctions on Poland. and Slovakia said that if Merkel's Germany called for financial penalties against countries unwilling to accommodate their “share” of migrants, it would be “the end of the EU.” The free trade movement of services, people, goods will never be the same... Austria suspended Schengen...Trump has opened a debate on socialist Sweden with a 'Last Night' in the Swedistan, the nation of Sweden once held up as a perfect example, the greatest social leftwing utopia? A chat about an end to the EU has made its way out of Eurosceptic circles and into discussions between the bloc's top diplomats and officials.

No cross border Euro Empire has really lasted in European history, in the end values and fight of the nation states always win out. The elites of Europe far removed from their poorer less fortunate cousins in Greece, Iceland, Greenland, Serbia, Macedonia, Ukraine, Portugal and other places. A 'British' exit is always kinda expected but Another question is it that core members stumble? Belgium–Luxembourg? that Germany is beginning to crack.

I was wrong in my prediction that Le Pen was going to win.

I think this will be better for Germany come October though. I could be wrong again, but I don't see any way that Merkel is going to remain in power.

My new prediction is that the France Election results will indirectly hasten the fall of the EU in the long run.
