Since DHS and its mouthpieces (CNN, NPR, etc.) are officially warning about a cyberattack by Russia which may spread globally, taking down important infrastructure and financial centers, I suppose we can expect another false flag from the deep state.

I bring this up to pass along the alt press' pov. Normally their interpretations sound a little too woo-woo, even for me, but they (as interpreters of the q-anon oracle) have been correct enough to be disturbing*. I'm convinced that whoever posts as q-anon (may be multiple people) has access to some intel, and that Trump is responsive to the posts.

What I gather is that they believe that the Skripal "poisoning' (Where is Julia Skripal? Why has she not made a public appearance since her recovery?) was a false flag and the Douma "attack" was entirely fabricated.

They are predicting that the deep state is going to engineer a world-wide cyberattack, and blame Russia. It would be easy enough to do!

* Previously they predicted the breakout of peace on the Korean peninsula, and most recently they predicted the turnover of power in Armenia, which is being portrayed as the breaking of the global deep state there, and an important interruption of deep state actors and funds into Iran. Just to be more comprehensive about their predictions, they are also predicting that the global deep state fifth column in Iran is about to be rooted out, so if correct we should expect some sort of kerfuffle in Iran as well.

ETA: given that these things are reported very late, if ever, I'd say a hack that was reported soon after would be the work of the deep state, which would want to capitalize on it as soon as possible.

So anyway ... anyone up for a rational, fact-based, and civil discussion about the topic?

Announced very quickly, but not with a lot of fanfare. The prediction is that it will start small and snowball.

Given that it's been revealed that the NSA and CIA toolkit includes the capability of embedding traces of other nations' "signatures" into malicious code, they can make it look like a malicious code came from anywhere.
