Newsweek coming out with two recent articles "reluctantly" backing Trump.

When I'm right, I'm right.

And for three glorious days this week, despite the media shitting on the guy 7 days a week for going on 3 years... the same media that was blowing Barry 7 days a week 8 years ago, Trump's RCP aggregate approval rating was higher than Obama's at the same time.

Democrats are so screwed in 2020.

Please. On behalf of President Trump, keep talking about impeachment. Keep talking about Ukraine. Keep letting AOC talk out of turn.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_app

RCP average has Trump at 44.7% now.

Obama's approval rating on September 23rd, 2011 was 43.3%.

Once again, this is the aggregate of all polls. Not just the singular Rasmussen poll.

Nope. Just laughing at everyone who's calling for Trump's impeachment.

Good luck impeaching a Republican President who has a higher approval rating than Obama did with a GOP lead Senate.

Please, please impeach.

We don't know when 6ixStringJack will finally admit he is a rock-hard Trump lover, but he is getting very close to showing us: "I'd like to see at least one Democrat candidate in the debates emulate is somebody who isn't mentally deranged and/or a communist."

We already knew, years ago, that impeachment will fail because no GOP Senators would vote to convict Trump since the Senators knew that voters in their home state who approve of Trump would not vote to convict Trump.

What we don't know is how large is Trump's overdue tax bill. $5 million? $5 billion? But we do know he promised to publicize the returns, just not until after the 2016 election, which was a long time ago. It is not funny how Trump flip-flopped to fighting with all his might to keep those tax returns a secret. He knows there is an overdue tax bill to pay.

I voted against Hillary. I used to say that Trump was kind of a dick and that once he was in office he was lying about the economy improving after (rightly) saying that it was bullshit when Obama was in office.

But Democrats are so ridiculous these days and I've never witnessed anything like the daily media attack on Trump in my life.

At this point, I can't tell if I actually am becoming a Trump fan, or I hate modern Democrats and the very obviously agenda driven MSM that much. The line is getting so blurred it's honestly really getting hard to tell.

Oh... BTW...

Trump's aggregate approval is now 45.1% at RCP.

Funny that, considering impeachment proceedings have begun.

Another Democrat hilarious backfire in the making.

Democrat politicians aren't doing anything but jerking themselves off with an impeachment that is bound to fail passing through the Senate in the first place. Pelosi knew this, and was wise to fight against it.

The only people who support Impeachment are those who would never have voted for Trump in the first place. The ones who will, obviously, are not for it. But most independents and not a small portion of Democrat voters don't think it's a good idea.

On top of all of this, by impeaching the President, you give him a get out of jail free card on the economy if it starts going south as well. Even if not entirely true, it's hard to argue that the impeachment of a standing President won't have a negative effect on the economy.

I'm unclear why Pelosi would change her tune on it now. Seems like a very large mistake to make this late in the game.

I'm beginning to think that all Democrat politicians and the lefty MSM are on Trump's payroll. They're doing a fine job making Trump look good by making themselves look as bad as they possibly can with every waking breath.

There is not enough time between today and Election day 2020 to have a trial of Trump. There is a murder trial in the Houston newspaper that took 5 years to get started, has been running for weeks, and one of the people shot is now a witness who knew the shooter, but the prosecutors could not pull the case together. The Democrats will need about 5 years to pull it together for Trump's trial. Why bother to hurry, since the Democrats know already that the GOP Senators will vote NOT GUILTY. The 2020 election will decide Trump's fate, not the impeachment trial.

Quinnipiac, ever the most left leaning of the RCP aggregate for Trump's Approval/Disapproval poll just raised up one to 41 in their newest poll.

Just find that interesting amidst all of the rhetoric that "this time it's for real" that's been going around this week.

Aren't you the person who said polls were sh*t back in 2016 (and since for the most part)?

Hey, look. Your favorite weekly with a poll. The weekly you cited as showing how MSM was gradually, grudgingly turning to saying good things about Trump. So what happened here?

https://www.newsweek.com/trump-approval-rating-lower-impeachment-poll-

DONALD TRUMP'S APPROVAL RATING IS SIX POINTS LOWER THAN SUPPORT FOR HIS IMPEACHMENT

"President Donald Trump's approval rating is six points lower than support for his impeachment, according to a new poll, following a sudden shift in opinion among voters about removing him from office.

The Quinnipiac University National Poll found that 41 percent of voting Americans approve of the way Trump is handling the presidency against 53 percent who disapprove."

Polls are shit, for the most part.

But aggregates can at least point to a better picture of general trends.

Quinnipiac is just as much of an outlier as Rasmussen is on the other side, although Rasmussen did get 2016 right, so there's reason to believe that they might be more accurate than the entire aggregate as a whole.

What I posted about today is that the most left-leaning poll in the aggregate actually showed a 1 point increase for Trump, amidst all of your caterwauling this week.

One would think that number would have decreased over the last week if people really wanted the president impeached.

Also, I'm among those who want Trump impeached. So is Trump. I would imagine at this point a lot of those people who are being counted as wanting it aren't on board for the reason that you think they are.

Trump lies, or haven't you noticed? That's his bluster and bluffing.

As for why people want him impeached? Sure I bet there are a number of his cultist fans that take all of their cues from him and think it's a good idea. And of course there's intelligent America who want him run our of town and tarred and feathered (wouldn't that be awesome?!) on the way to prison. There might also be a large number of people that are just sick and tired of that loud mouth f*ck blathering on and filling his pockets between tweets and golf outings. Nothing is getting done, there's no governing, no making America great again. There's just Trump and his little gang doing his bidding. Some have called it a shadow government. Sounds a bit over the top but also accurate. How's that Health Care doing? Drug prices? He's not doing anything other than sort of building a wall that we're paying for. He's a complete loser as a president.

Even RCP is lying about the aggregate now.

They've removed the 48 approval for the Emerson poll (9/21-9/23) the last two days, which falls well within the aggregate of 9/16-10/3 without a new Emerson poll to replace the old one.

How convenient.

Pair that by including a ridiculously low CNBC poll of 37%, and they're trying to say that the aggregate approval is down to 43% now.

Especially funny when the last time CNBC even had a poll on record was back in May. They must not have liked hearing the news that despite all of the Legacy Media bullshit for the last 3 years that Trump was polling higher than Obama was at the same time in his presidency, so they got off their ass and made an extremely biased poll to "fix" that.

Add back the 48 from Emerson like it should be, and it's 43.5%

Remove the obviously flawed CNBC poll which would make even Quinnipiac blush and the aggregate is 44%.

Do your research. Don't just take for grated somebody is telling you the truth when facts are so easy to manipulate.

Imagine that...

The CNBC poll offers no methodology records or a link to the survey, other than 800 people were polled. They could all be hard core Democrats and nobody would know because they're hiding the methodology.

Well... RCP seems to have lost the plot now. I can't even tell what they're doing anymore.

The CNBC sham of a poll I mentioned in the last post is no longer counted in the aggregate, although it's still up there and within the covered days.

Maybe they change their own rules every day on how things are included in the aggregate? Today it seems that anything with a first date before the 26th is not included, and they ignore the 2nd date. That would be fine if they did that every day, but they don't. For example, the CNBC poll had a first date of the 24th and was still included yesterday when the first date for the aggregate was the 25th.

So now, on 10/6, the date range included (with the rules stated above) is 9/26 - 10/3.

The lowest poll in the current aggregate is 41, and the highest is 49.

41, 41, 41, 42, 43, 48, 49.

7 polls today, where they included 11 yesterday.

43.6%, where it was 43% yesterday.

It will be interesting to see new polls coming out this week and comparing those same polls to their previous results as well as how they effect the aggregate. It will also be interesting to see if RCP changes the rules of their aggregate again.

They seem to be playing by the same rules today as yesterday.

If they're still playing by the same rules two days from now and new polls don't come out to replace them at that point, two of the low numbers of 41 will have aged off.

So... the two 41's would have aged off, but they were replaced with new polls from the same organizations with brand spankin' new 41s in their place. No change there.

Fox News comes in with a 43, but Fox News always has low polls for Trump. I'm not exactly sure why that is. Probably to give the illusion of "Fair and Balanced" that they're always trying to push.

The "big news" would be the Economist poll, up to 46 from 42. 46 is a "tie" for what seems to be Trump's approval ceiling for that poll, which he's hit quite a few times this year.

At the end of the day, we're still at 43.6% for the aggregate halfway into the week.

Not looking good for the Never Trumprs, despite all the talks of impeachment, since Barry had roughly the same approval rating at the same time during his presidency after 3 straight years of the Legacy Media blowing him.

Read the headlines today. Trump set this bomb off on Sunday with a phone call to Turkey's President. Are the 43.6% who approve of Trump too stupid to understand what Trump did? Yes!

Headlines:

• Turkey's Erdogan threatens to release millions of refugees into Europe over criticism of Syria offensive

• Watch: Live images from Syrian-Turkish border as Turkish military continues offensive

• Republican anger grows as Trump disavows Kurds by saying they didn't help during WWII

• Turkey invades Syria: Why is Turkey fighting the Kurds in Syria?

What did Trump do? He removed American troops that were standing in the way of the Turkish Army. There was no risk for the Americans because the Turks would not have attacked the Americans. The Turks could not attack the Kurds until the Americans got out of the way. Trump gave the order to get out of the way so that Turks could attack America's allies, the Kurds.

Idiot Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump tweeted:
Turkey has been planning to attack the Kurds for a long time. They have been fighting forever. We have no soldiers or Military anywhere near the attack area. {Because Trump moved them} I am trying to end the ENDLESS WARS. Talking to both sides. Some want us to send tens of thousands of soldiers to the area and start a new war all over again. Turkey is a member of NATO.
Others say STAY OUT, let the Kurds fight their own battles (even with our financial help). I say hit Turkey very hard financially & with sanctions if they don't play by the rules! I am watching closely. {Turkey is NOT playing by the rules, but Trump has NOT hit Turkey hard.}

Fox News poll: 51 percent favor Trump's impeachment and removal from office

"A new poll released Wednesday by Fox News shows that just more than half of all registered voters support President Trump's impeachment and removal from office.

Those surveyed said 51% to 43% that Trump should be impeached and removed from office. Four percent said he should be impeached but not removed from office, and 40% said he should not be impeached at all.

The poll also showed a clear partisan divide. Of Democrats surveyed, 85% said Trump should be impeached and removed, as did 13% of Republicans. Those opposed to impeachment and removal included 9% of Democrats and 82% of Republicans.

This poll is among the first to show that roughly half of Americans support impeachment and removal from office. It lines up with a Politico/Morning Consult survey also released Wednesday that said support for removal was at 50%."

Oops.

Interesting numbers.

51% of all voters.

13% of Republicans, 85% of Democraps.

And 40% of all voters.

82% of Republicans, 9% of Democraps.

Over this summer, Republicans are peaking at 30% of those polled by Gallop, Dems at 31%, and Independants around 40%.

Maybe the poll oversampled Democraps.

Otherwise, the 51% was composed of 3.9% R, 26.35% D, leaving 10.75% I - which equals about 27% of Independants. Not exactly overwhelming.

The 40% would have been 24.6% R, 2.79% D, leaving 2.6% I - which equals 6.5% of Independants.

It's kind of funny when they keep bringing up the 51% and calling it "most Americans".

Despite the Legacy Media doing their damnedest to kill Trump every single day for three years, they barely have more as a percentage on record here (in a very small and highly biased polling sample) than they did for the legitimate popular vote of over 125 Million actual people in 2016, and a good deal of them are people like me who are going to vote for him in 2020 and know that it would be a good thing for Trump if they did it.

Anyway... who gives a shit? Impeachment is either never going to happen or it will embolden Trump's base and get him re-elected.

I'm all for it.

Do Right, Be Right. :)
