I see your semantics. 2 actually were found Not Guilty. But in legal terms, mistrial is not the same as Not Guilty. Double Jeopardy does not apply. My brain read it wrong the way you wrote it and seriously blinded out the "not". It was a weird thing. I don't suffer from dyslexia or anything like that.

I think it was like one of those brain games where they put the same word in a sentence twice and 9 out of 10 people's brains just skip over the extra word and didn't know that it was even there.

Something like "Something about this sentence is not not right." Most people miss that second not... Especially if one not is at the end of a line and the other not begins the next line.

FBI has been hiding behind a facade of respectability for a long time, and deceitfully for a long time also.

I don't conjure that most American Citizens, Voters have slathered similar respectability to NSA or CIA, no matter how much Deep State promotes and spin doctors them.

Loosing the facade by disbanding the FBI will produce laser refocusing upon the miscreant agencies without their ability to hide behind a false reputation.

In that way, I conjure transparency would be enhanced and improved.

But I don't imagine that the general feeling of mistrust that Americans have for the CIA or NSA would amount to anything. It's not like the constant low double digit approval of the US Congress ever does.

I kind of feel like the FBI is Jr. Varsity while the CIA and NSA are the A-Team.

I'd be surprised if we're even aware of 1% of what the both of them have been up to since their creation, and I'd be even more surprised if there wasn't another alphabet agency or two out there that we've never even heard of.

The FBI is just full of the dummies who didn't make the cut, and if you look back on history the side of the aisle who defends them tends to blow with the wind.
