I see none of the idiots commented on that fact this morning. I wonder why that is?

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/kansas-2022-primary-election-results/s
tory?id=87750747

59% No - 534,136 Votes

41% Yes - 374,611 Votes

It wasn't even close.

"But gosh! It must have been because Democrats got the word out and went strong to the polls to save our baby murder rights, right!!!!???"

Nope.

Kansas Senate Primary votes:

Democrats - 254,933 (35.48%)

Republicans - 463,600 (64.52%)

TOTAL: 718,533

Kansas Governor Primary votes:

Democrats - 276,659 (38.02%)

Republicans - 450,977 (61.98%)

TOTAL: 727,636

That's right. In a vote where the turnout of Republican voters vs Democrat voters was roughly 63% to 37%, in the state known worldwide to have wanted to teach that God created man in Science classes, the people voted to protect abortion rights upheld by the Kansas Supreme Court in 2019.

Do not listen to what the Legacy Media says was on the table here either way, but instead go directly to the source for that info here: https://www.kansas.com/news/politics-government/election/article263274
943.html

Archive Link: https://archive.ph/Q0dnE

The highlights of the No Vote:

1. Even without a US Constitutional right protecting abortion access, the Kansas Constitution does so.

2. Kansas politicians cannot make any changes to the constitutionally protected right of abortion in the state of Kansas.

3. Kansas constitution's current constitutional protections include:

a. Abortions after 22 weeks are strictly limited. Patients must receive mandatory state-written materials before going through with an abortion. An ultrasound is required, and so is parental consent for minors. Abortion clinics in Kansas face regulation from the state health department for safety, sanitation and cleanliness. Practicing clinicians must abide by license requirements and investigations by the state, just like all other medical professionals in Kansas.

b. On Government Financed Abortions: Publicly funded health insurance plans like Medicaid will only cover the procedure in Kansas if it is necessary to save the life or a “major bodily function” of the patient.

The Kansas Constitution's rules on abortion in both (a) and (b) above are both a reasonable middle ground and simply just make sense. A bi-partisan super-majority of Americans would agree with the outcome of the election in Kansas above.

If Kansas can do it, any Red state both can and should.

And, in the meantime, if Blue states continue to fully fund abortions with public money for all reasons and allow you to kill viable fetuses in the 3rd trimester and/or break a baby's neck if it comes out deformed or retarded in some way, this issue will only continue being a liability for Democrats.

After last night, not only the Abortion Issue is a dead issue for Democrats, but depending on how they proceed from here it can actually become a severe liability for them.

Moving on...

So the Abortion Referendum drew over 908k votes.

Almost 200k more than any Primary.

In a state with almost 3 million population.

So what percent of the population decided?

170,000 divided by almost 3 million?

Well... That's how they raised my property taxes for the school system next year.

When you don't want people to vote on something, just throw it in an off-year primary vote.

I think the Republicans in Kansas knew exactly what they were doing here but didn't realize that it was going to backfire on them.

Kansas' existing Constitutional stance on Abortions is reasonable to everyone but the extreme Catholics that were at the forefront of the Satanic Panic of the 80's and 90's, the pink haired man-hating weirdos on the Left that look like a thumb, and the male feminists that are really super creeps to women in real life when they're not virtue signalling on twitter to try to get laid.

The vote was a good one.

Now we get to see how the insane Leftoids fare in blue states when they want to be able to strangle retarded babies to death after they come out of the vagina.

This vote, particularly out of Kansas, just killed any momentum and perceived advantage that Democrats had on Roe v Wade.

Wrong lesson, idiot liars...

SALON: Kansas abortion win is a wake-up call: Americans do not want GOP bans
Republicans did everything they could to keep pro-choicers from the polls, yet the abortion ban went down in flames

https://www.salon.com/2022/08/03/kansas-abortion-win-is-a-wake-up-call
-americans-do-not-want-bans
/

Nobody was "kept" from the polls. Democrats just didn't fucking turn out.

Here's your lessons, idiots...

1. Prepare to be annihilated in November. Democrat voters know that Democrat leaders are failures and they're completely disenfranchised.

2. Most Republicans don't want to see access to abortion outlawed completely, and the fact that an overwhelming majority of the Tuesday vote in freakin' Kansas was by Republican voters illustrates this perfectly.

3. Abortion is a dead issue for Democrats now. The only thing that Democrats could possibly do with the Abortion issue is make things worse for themselves by catering to the insane fringe Leftists in blue states.

You've been warned.

And Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb proves yet again that he's just about the worst person that could be sitting in that position.

Hey gals and gals... what can I say? I voted against him.

Indiana becomes first state in nation to approve near-total abortion ban post Roe

You guys and gals that voted for this are fucking idiots. There are far too many limitations here, and you're making the same mistake that the Democrat party does nationally by pandering to a tiny demographic.

I'm surprised that nobody in the RWED has commented on this yet, but that's probably only because the Media is waiting until Monday to start reporting on it in earnest and drop those DESERVED "I told you so" bombs all over the place.

You little fucking worms. You just put power back in the hands of the National Level Democrats on the abortion issue with this little stunt... and WAY too close to midterms on top of it.

You, Eric, especially need to go.

See Ted, Second and Cap'n?

THIS is how you show that you have half a brain and aren't some mindless mouthpiece for your corrupt party.

Indiana Republicans led by Holcomb really fucked the pooch here.

And it's not just political... I say all of this when you know full well what my PERSONAL opinions on abortion are regardless of what anybody on any point of the political spectrum thinks about them.

TO ADD:

Quote:

"To the people of Indiana, let me assure you that the democratic process marches on, and you should continue to reach out to all your elected representatives to have your voice heard," Holcomb said in his statement. "Looking back, I am personally most proud of each Hoosier who came forward to courageously share their views in a debate that is unlikely to cease any time soon. For my part as your governor, I will continue to keep an open ear."

Open ear my ass.

How many times did you and your staffers completely ignore my emails to you in the last two years? I have the answer to that in my sent folder if you don't know.

You aren't God, you fat bitch.

Man... do I miss Mitch Daniels more than ever right now.

Um, it does seem just political. Bc you look at this in light of Dems v Repubs, and not in light of your deeply-held views.

Just as there are different "wings" in the Dem party, there are different "wings" in the Republican party.

There is the "establishment" ... the Mitch McConnells of the part who hate Trump.

And there are the dumb-fucks of the party, like the ppl who apparently occupy the state legislatures in Kansas and Indiana.

And then there are the populists at the national level who would never be caught voting for these laws.

I don't think the average voter distinguishes between different Republicans, they lump them all in one bag. So you're right to worry about the effect this would have on the national level. It's a shame bc there are some very worthwhile Republicans to vote for who don't deserve to be tarred with the same brush. Still, there are a lot of Republican candidates at the national level outside of Indiana, so maybe they will save the Republican party.

Creationism seems kinda retard though, I remember when Asia got ahead during the Bush jnr years they almost pushed the biological ban on stem cell research.
Any kind of fool or genius, in the end of the day they can have a 'Faith' a belief in Religion or Atheism, they can choose to believe whatever, we came from a monkey, or we came from 'nothing' or we are part of the dream of a turtle floating in some coffee, or we were made by UFO space aliens or whatever but pushing Theology as science on kids it feels a little Too Jihad Sharia Law?
