Early fire season up North here. Evacuation notice issued for Fort Nelson and Fort Nelson First Nations, this is BC. Fires threatening Fort McMurray again and Grande Prairie both small places in Alberta. Cranberry Portage in Manitoba is threatened by fire as well. Don't think anything is burning up the Yukon or Northwest Territories.

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Wow, that's bad. AND early!

But it seemed to me that winter in the Vancouver area was unusually dry. And since Vancouver is more or less where the rest of BC gets its weather from...

I hope your summer is unusually rainy.

Why SECOND'S posts are brainless: "I clocked how much time: no more than 10 minutes per day. With cut-and-paste (Ctrl C and Ctrl V) and AI, none of this takes much time."
Or, any verification or thought.

It is.

My area was pretty dry over the winter which is why the snowpack is so low.

*Fingers crossed* that we do get a wet and soggy summer and those storms carry over the Rockies into the Prairies.

Only if they include lots of rain because right now there is lighting in Alberta, especially in and around Calgary. That's what happened in Manitoba. Dry lighting.

First outside of Fort St. John and another First Nation evacuated. BC again. There was a little bit of rain for the north and hopefully the winds will keep the fire away from Fort Nelson and Fort St. John.

There is a fire burning in the Yukon but it can't be doing much damage as it hasn't gotten much reported on it.

Evacuation notice lifted for Fort McMurray. Still iffy in Fort Nelson though.
