Quote:With less than a week to go until election day, presidential historian dubbed the 'Nostradamus' of polling experts Allan Lichtman has remained staunch on his prediction that Democratic nominee Kamala Harris will become the next US president. The American University professor, 77, is known for fashioning his own election model that has correctly forecast every presidential winner since 1984. Last month, he garnered a wave of criticism when he revealed that Harris had met what he believed to be the critical objectives for victory. Now, speaking to CTV News, Lichtman said that his prediction 'does not change with respect to the ephemeral events of the campaign'. He also explained that his prediction is 'based on a fundamental understanding of how American presidential elections really work, as votes up or down on the strength and performance of the White House party', adding that 'the polls tell you nothing'.
Quote:'I don't get it,' Professor Allan Lichtman was heard saying on his since-wrapped election livestream, as Trump's landslide victory became clear. Lichtman, 77, has successfully predicted nine out of ten elections since 1984. He was certain Kamala Harris would win, at first by a landslide, and then by a trickle. But as Trump stormed to victory last night, Lichtman's miscalculation was unavoidable. 'I'm not doing any interviews, I'm done,' he said.

Quote:Lichtman blames "disinformation" for the Keys' failure to predict the election outcome, saying the system is designed to work with a rational, well-informed American public. "You live in a total world of denial," Cenk said to Litchman. "You were preposterously and stupidly wrong."
Quote:ALLAN LICHTMAN: I will not sit here and stand for personal attacks, for blasphemy against me. You don't need to do that. CENK UYUGR: Blasphemy against you? Who the hell are you, Jesus Christ, you loser? Can I just get the correct answer for once?
