"Norman Baker, environment spokesman for the Liberal Democrats, said it looked "like a case of hidden mass medication upon the unsuspecting public."

I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Along with Prozac they also find traces of human and synthetic hormones (estrogen, progesterone), traces of antibiotics, phthalates, detergent residues, and other chemical residues in common use.

The fact is that humans use and excrete enormous quantities of natural and synthetic chemicals. Secondary sewage treatment (I don't know about UK sewage treatment but in the USA it consists of filtration, anaerobic digestion, sludge removal, chlorination) does not break down ALL of the chemicals found in the waste steam. One possible solution is ultraviolet sterilization- not only does it kill bacteria and viruses without creating chlorinated residues, if you use a high-frequency, high-energy lamp you break down a lot of the resistant chemical in the water.

There it is, there it is. It's always there if you look for it. Everybody sees and nobody sees it...

The forced diversity you find everywhere is just gross.

Back when you could look at British people and they were all clearly British, you didn't have any of these problems in Britain.

Stick a fork in us. We're done.
