You're goddamned right tax hikes can't be the fix. You've already made living in Illinois practically unaffordable.

Quote:

With a little over two weeks before a deadline to pass a state budget, Illinoisans suddenly are being made aware of a deeper-than-anticipated shortfall.

In an official report released earlier this week, the governor’s Office of Management and Budget released updated revenue forecasts that leaves the state $536 million worse off than earlier projections showed.

How much you spending to house, clothe and feed illegals again, JB?

You fat, worthless fuck.

Quote:

State forecasting should have been more conservative. Late last year, the projected fiscal 2026 shortfall stood at $3.2 billion, shrinking to $1.7 billion by February when Gov. JB Pritzker unveiled his budget. Pritzker’s primary suggestion for cutting costs was to eliminate the state’s expensive program providing health care benefits to immigrants in the country without legal permission, aged 42 to 65, yet another acknowledgement of voter sentiment expressed clearly in November. That would save the state hundreds of millions.

Oh yeah? How much of that Three-Point-Fucking-Two-Billion-Dollar state budget deficit cut down to One-Point-Fucking-Seven-Billion-Dollar state budget shortfall did you manage to cut just by cutting those illegal alien invaders off the taxpayer dime?

Funny... The article doesn't specifically mention that figure, huh?

How many "Hundreds of Millions" are we talking here, specifically?

It wouldn't be 15 hundreds of millions, would it?

Was it ALL $1.5 Billion you shaved off the budget by kicking off all illegal alien invader males aged 42 to 65?

How much is the state budget shortfall if you kicked ALL of them off insurance. The women and the children?

It's not zero if you do that, is it JB?

Still, Pritzker’s budget tops $55 billion, over $16 billion more than the $38.5 billion the state spent in fiscal year 2019, just before Pritzker took office.

So let me get this straight...

1. Since J.B. Pritzker took office in 2019, the Illinois state budget has ballooned from $38.5 Billion to $55 Billion, which is an increase of $16 Billion.

2. At the current proposed budget, you are still $1.5 Billion over budget at $55 Billion.

Okay Google. When is the last time that Illinois ran a budget surplus?

Answer: Illinois ran a budget surplus in fiscal year 2023, ending with a surplus of $726 million. This was due to higher-than-projected tax revenues and federal pandemic aid, as well as the state ending the fiscal year with over $50 billion in base revenue. In addition to the surplus in FY23, Illinois also ended FY24 with a surplus.

No. No. That's all cheating...

Okay Google. When is the last pre-pandemic year that the state of Illinois ran a budget surplus?

Answer: The last time Illinois ran a budget surplus before 2021 was in 2001. Illinois experienced a budget impasse from 2015 to 2017, resulting in a period without a complete state budget. The state then experienced several years of deficits before the surplus in 2021.

Thank you Google. You have been very helpful.

3. Illinois has not run a budget surplus since 2001 if you don't include all the rules for everything changing after the Pandemic, which means that Illinois did not run a surplus in 2018, the year before Pritzker started.

4. Pritzker's budget deficit in 2025 is "only" $1.5 Billion, despite a $16 BILLION DOLLAR increase in the budget since 2018.

What do all 4 of those things combined mean?

This means that JB Pritzker has increased the tax burden on Illinois Citizens at least $14.5 BILLION PER YEAR (or 42.857%) in the six short years he has been in office and he is still running a budget deficit of $1.5 Billion per year.

That is what it fucking means.

HOW MUCH IS IT COSTING THE CITIZENS OF ILLINOIS TO HOUSE, CLOTHE, FEED, SCHOOL AND PROVIDE HEALTHCARE TO YOUR CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS, JB?

Nobody hears what the critics have to say. We did it their way for decades and everything turned to shit.
