November the 11th, a day to remember those who sacrificed their lives for our freedoms.

To honour the elders among us, who came home with torn bodies and spirits in disarray.

To the young who pick up the banner and put on the colours of their country.

I wish I could say that the guns are silent forever on this day but of course they aren't.

But take a minute when the bells toll 11am tomorrow to think about those who have served our countries with honour and dignity.
