Okay I got a boat load things to do today, so I'll be brief. I'm a HUGE Firefly/Serenity fan...I think mainly for the fact that the show and movie offered a "closer to life" view of a very probable future. The characters are real, and very affected b the 'verse they live. which to me is THE best example of story-telling. Few other shows follows these parameters, especially in sci-fi. Shows such as B5, Space, Above & Beyond, and Farscape. and even though it was tv show, as far as "important sci-fi" goes, it's up there with Blade Runner for me.

My fave episode is "Out of Gas" being the owner of a highly dependable, but somewhat "lived-in" Firefly of my own...a little 17 yr old basic Honda Civic HB named "Stitch". I completely relate to Mal's reaction to when he first saw Serenity. I've watched that episode more than any other in the box set, lol!

Well, anyways that's my terribly short tale of my place in the Firefly 'verse. Now if you'll pardon me, I gotta go pack for a week at the beach.
