Hi comrades. I'm a Christian, Irish enthusiast, trad singer, browncoat in OR who loves playing in the water, novels, playing pretends (you may call it roleplaying if you must), Rennaissance faires, camping, trinket/antique shops, history and being with people.

I'm known for my reading and reviewing of Firefly fanfic over at fanfiction.net, I only have time to read once a week now and sadly I only have time to read authors and stories that I already follow. If you'd like me to read and review yours and its posted over there just let me know and I'll make it happen. Be warned though that I only read stories where River is still touched in the wits. "A completely coherant River means writers don't deliver" KatTaya, so if your River is too stable or, even worst, miraculously cured, then I'm not reading. I don't think the revelation of a secret you didn't know you had would fix a brain that has been cut into and altered like that. Plus River turns into a Mary Sue if she's not touched anymore because she can do everyone else's job since she's so brilliant and talented.

I'm very family oriented, my family and friends are very important to me. I love intensely.

I work in the fields of mental health and developmental differences. My ultimate career goal is to own and run a group home for touched folk (people with _certain types of mental health differences and/or _certain types of developmental differences) and I intend to name it after our River.
