Ah the parody of the Jaynestown song. Totally and completely accurate right now. I just finished my essay of doom....barely...with ten pages.
Can I really help that? No. When I'm giving people information in a paper, I try to be concise...very concise...
concise is not ten pages, not when my topic was so restricted (ten to fifteen pages, only use books from the University Library, but that have to be recent books, so I had to explain why I was using a very old book , from like 1907 (It was relevant, I swear!!!), and then to top it off I can't just settle for a nice, neat, bibliography, I have to footnote everything to death, in the proper format...)
Can you guess how many recent books their are about medieval minstrelsy?
according to the amount of resources I found, not that many, and people don't seem to be interested in writing dissertations of the subject, either, unless they're looking at musical notation and theory....
Okay...done with the rabid music major talk...
just...why assign a college sophmore a *thesis* when all I want to do is get my bachelors?
