This is Dex, my black market beagle. He watches Firefly eps with me as we wait for September to roll around. A special breed known as The Dog from the island nation of Japan on Earth That Was, he's got a big head and lots of heart. To anyone on the market for beagle herds...
I've met some of these beagles at Itzacon. They are really very nice, barkless, and you don't have to clean up after them! :D

DCC - backdrop CU & Inara
Got permission from Needleseye to post this. A closer shot of her backdrop, as well as showing off her hand-sewn "Heart of Gold" Inara costume. She projected the ship onto the black fabric, drew the outlines, then painted in the details by looking at a picture. Browncoats are a talented bunch! Oh, and more shiny fliers on top!

Incredible Darth Vader costume complete with voice box. He couldn't see well enough to sign the guess book so we asked him to stand in front of the backdrop for a pic. :)
