Ok, to be fair I've never met the girl (he started dating her when he got back to Texas), but judging from the fact that when she's 'round when he calls me or I call him she grabs the phone and very nastily says "What the hell do you want?", not too fond of the girl. Never mind that most people don't even work in the field that they got they're degree in. Sheesh.

Actually, I just think they are jealous because we had actual fun getting our degree while learning useful skills such as research and the like, while they plodded through boring classes.

I have a pair that are darker brown, too. They don't come up as high as my golden tan ones, though. More like ankle boots, but not quite. Also have those in black. Brought them all to DC and didn't end up wearing them...
