But as I understand it if you sync up the reaver chase in Serenity with the turbulence it really adds to the effect:)

We aren't landing. We are flying in circles backwards in order to make time reverse.

Good idea MSA. *puts Serenity on all plane video sets.

After that, your choices for in flight entertainment are Firefly, Doctor Who, or Torchwood.

Don't like those choices? There's a parachute in the back with your name on it.

The answer to all of that is yes, you can watch what you want, eat what you want, and sit where you want. (I might have accidentally on purpose temporarily borrowed some flightbots from the SereniTREE, so now everyone has their own personal flight attendant.)

As for the When we are going, you'll have to take it up with the pilot. Speaking of which, I haven't heard anything from so far...

*goes to check the cockpit

Ladies and Gentlecoats, this is yer Captain speaking. We're cruising at an altitude of . . . . pretty high at a speed of . . . . well, that's all relative innit?

Your flight attendant is Mai, who can be said to be a mite whimsical in the brainpan, but she's darn good at what she does. We just haven't figured out exactly what that is yet.

We'll be taking requests for the time period of your choice, but as this imaginary interweebery flight operates on String Theory, you can only go back in your own lifetime. We can not guarantee who or what you will experience that time period as, however, but if you'd read the pre-flight contract, you'd know that all ready. Don't blame me.

Myself . . . I was turned in to a newt. But worry not. I got better.

Thanks that's the nicest thing anyone has said to me in a real long while now.

No it's those people who don't take naps that are wrong. There is no such thing as too much napping. Only when you have to take naps in order to recover from naps that might be on verge of too much too napping.

I'm awake! Though I'm slightly more loopy than usual... definitely warped on the inside (my sleep scedule's way off, at least on the 'wake up at 8 get to bed at reasonable hour' scale..). I think society is wrong though- the day should only start at noon, when that pesky morning stuff is safely over with!

Imagine the Bavarian equivalent of Sheriff Taylor taking police reports from the locals and trying to keep Herr Fife from interrogating/threatening to shoot everybody in sight until finally the culprit is unmasked. It's not the town drunk or the suspiciously kindly old ladies from the underground bingo hall but a dog (more or less) doing what dogs do - chew on shoes. (More or less)

"So chief," said the balding veteran cop standing in the hall, "We found the suspect in the kitchen clutching a bloody knife that she had apparently thrust one hundred one times into her now dead husband's chest. She won't say anything directly but she keeps mumbling about its and apostrophes. Now looking at the chat logs on this computer and it seems the decedent had a habit of typing it's when he meant its and vice verse. I may be going out on a limb here but I suspect what we have is a case of fatal contraction."

Well so far I'm not hearing going away so much as new revenue source must be found so I'm'a be just a little optimistic on this. But should it become necessary grenades are I think a little too randomly destructive for our purposes. We need something a bit more precise like light sabers or Vera.
