Hi everyone,

I'm sorry I've been out of the world a while. Seems I've got yet another real life issue on my plate. My daughter is going to require surgery on her back because of a birth defect that has affected her spine. That's the bad news, the good news is it means she will be better and it won't hinder her in anyway as she continues to grow up after she recovers.

Of course the relevance to this is that I will have even less free time than I do now. So I will try to get the voting up on this round sometime in the next few days, and then we'll have maybe our final winner. If, when all is said and done, in about 6 months, assuming normal recovery, I may reboot the game. If not, thank you for all the years of fun, and for keeping me a part of this community I love so very much.

Browncoats, you have always been, and always will be, my Big Damn Heroes. :)

Sorry, I've had so much on my plate the last month, but I am happy to report she is doing REMARKABLE. She is to the point, just a month following the surgery, where she is not only on her feet, but her posture is textbook perfect and she is walking normally! She's still gonna have to wear a brace for a spell, until she's fully healed, but if you had told me a month ago she'd be at this point, back in school, relying on no one for anything, I'd have called you a moonbrain. :)

Babygirl Tenth is still flyin'. Blue hands can't keep her down for long at all. :)

Good good good, TCM. We've been in suspense a long time. Tell her we've had our space-fingers crossed for her. Be sure to take souvenir photos of the brace for her. One of our family has had miles of smiles from photos of himself in a body cast with a hole cut out for the diaphragm so he could breathe, and a cardboard fig-leaf stapled to a strategic spot on the lower front edge.
