Zoot's Virtual Petting Zoo - No. 2
Friday, April 22, 2005

Welcome back to the petting zoo. Feel free to buy our reasonably priced animal snacks to feed to the critters. The Zoo’s inhabitants this week are highly sensitive, but respond to affection and care.

1. Siberian Hamster – this incredibly sweet little fella is nevertheless so fast, you’ll have a job to see his little furry legs move. If you can catch him though, he loves to have his head tickled and if you feel around under his cheeks, you’ll seen he’s storing up nuts for the winter (Siberian winters are damn cold). He’ll calm you right down as you watch his adorable little face wrinkle as he nibbles on your finger. Why not give him a carrot stick and call him Titch (he likes that!).

2. Big Foot a.k.a Sasquatch - this hairy guy is hardly little and just look at those eponymous feet! He’s docile when approached form the front in a subservient position. Don’t scare him or you’ll see what hundreds of campers have known for years. An angry Sasquatch is a miserable bugger. More than anything though he loves to have his feet stroked, so go ahead, stroke them; feel that soft, hobbit-like covering! In return he’ll happily groom you for hours. You can leave the petting zoo safe in the knowledge that no lice remain alive about your person!

Disclaimer: When entering the petting zoo the level of your blood pressure may go up as well as down.

I'm friends with a Yeti...so I should have no problem with Mr. Big Foot.
