I feel your pain Pez.

I use to be in the Rangers. I loved it. The camaraderie, the challenge, the tight knit unit/family feel. I loved all of it, except for the boneheaded officers in charge. I got tired of the politics, the butt kissing, and the other bull that goes along w/ military life. You know what I am talking about.

The bull and officers is what convinced me to get out after 8 years in the Teams. I am not saying you should leave, only that I know what you are going through.

That is exactly why I will never follow my brothers steps into joining the military. He's away for basic training this summer. He's in the Canadian Reserves in the Com Squad. And he's always pressuring me into joining the military. But it's that kind of shit that someone has to put up with is part of the reason I would never want to join the military.
