As much as this sucks, (and, trust me, it sucks a LOT) I understand that you have other priorities in your life. And besides, we'll still have Your Weirdness in the Treehouse. :)

I hope things in the "real world" go better for you.

I can relate, I too have way more friends here than any other place. However since my other half is online as much as me (and more) we never really have issues. I hope you find a happy medium and can still visit enough for all of us to share your weirdness.

We will miss you lots when you're not around. Things definitely won't be as weird here.

You must do what you need to to balance IRL and all of your online friends. (I also have more friends here than I do in real life.) At least you will still be around some, so we won't be completely deprived of your unique vision.

It is necessary that you balance those aspects of your life as you decide. If you are spending too much time here and neglecting other relationships, then so be it.

On the other hand, I hate to think that we in this forum are not your friends simply because we have never physically met you. That we are considered unimportant because we are somehow "not real". I assure you, I am Real.

I've got to agree with twg that real life is more important than being on a forum; certainly if Jake feels you could be spending more time together you need to seriously consider his point of view.

On the other hand, we'll all miss you terribly (even a cutback you) though I fail to understand how anyone in real life could think you anything other than the most delightful creature.

What I have learned in my life, TWG is a few simple facts:

1) internet IS real life....perception is the thing I suppose. What's the diff between a forum and a watercooler? Besides the fact that ya can't be dressed in shorts only at the cooler o:O

2) People will think what they want...F*&$ 'em. Not a damn thing you can say or do will change their opinion. It's their loss, not yours :D

3) Be yourself, do what you like and what you want. BECAUSE IT IS!! Not because someone else says so.


All my life, I've gotten the same thing, and ya know what...people don't change, so why change yourself? You are who you are, they are who they are...be your funny, witty, self and be daned what everyone else thinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
