Not sure how it happened, but I now have a job!

Actually, that isn't quite true. I do know how it happened

Going out to have coffee/meals/desert/etc with a buddy that is a techie resulted in lots of techie talk. This of course over time ended up covering a wide array of topics from licenses to specific developement problems/solutions.

Because he owns his own business, after a time we ran into a problem that he was looking for a solution, which I knew of some (solutions that is

).

Thus I get a contract to setup a solution.

This turns into a job offer pending I complete a "proof that I know how to do web programming site." Which I finished and he and his lead programmer were satisfied with

And yesterday I get a job offer which I accepted today

Just gonna have to be careful not to overstep my bounds...

At any rate, yay! I've again joined the ranks of the getting paid

It's actually been nice so far. I get flex time and working from home, where ever home is. Telecommuting has its advantages :)

Gotta get back to work. Probably take a bit getting used to saying that ;)
