Responding to BlueEyedBrigadier - energy for a cone of power would be focused on a result - say getting FF back on or a sequel to Serenity or something as good or better. It's best not directed to a person or entity, like Fox, etc. You look beyond the individual to the result.

When I've seen this work (or appear to as it's difficult to repeat and quantify) it has been when there is very strong will and focus. I would suspect the FF fans did just that when they were so totally focussed on getting Serenity made - they also wanted the series back but perhaps the energy was more directed to the BDM.

If it happened once perhaps it can happen again. Are there more of us now? Are we growing in numbers? The trick would be the focus and direction and the goal - always having the final result and adding it's eqivalent or better as sometimes there is something better but at least as good.

Anyway for an agnostic that may be a lot of hooey but who knows for sure?

Well...a cone of power would be spectacular, Siri...but we need to collectively decide on the target of said energies. Fox execs? Universal? Niche providers like HBO or SciFi?
