the bloody church of england in chains of history
Sunday, December 10, 2006

hi there,

The song today is My God by Jethro Tull cos this has kind of a religious theme.

Today is the 10th anniversary of my confirmation. Yes, it's been 10 years and in those years it is entirely poosible that I have been to church once a year. Sometime after being confirmed I decided that religion was a load of bollocks and only go at Christmas to kepp my mam happy.

Yesterday we put the Christmas decorations up. I say we, I did most of it because it seems that my brother has decided he hates tinsel. Is that how you spell it? It doesn't look right to me. Anyway, the tree isn't what you would call organised. It has four angels, loads of birds and absolutely no colour theme. Just the way I like it.

Sunderland won yesterday. 2-1 against Luton. Now in the top half of division one (yes i know it's not called that anymore, it's just easier to remember).

Last week of university this week! yay. My class has to go to the Tyne and Wear Archive Service tomorrow and we may be going on a trip to Jarrow on Wednesday.

Hey I think it's fine to just go to church to make a parent happy. They do stuff for us so it's kind of like payback:)

Never been confirmed...got dunkerooed when I was four to appease my grandparents and the like...but I am a free agent, with the blessing of God and the Universe (recognize the show where that quote's from and ya get a cookie;D).

P.S. Dunkerooed = baptised;)

I couldn't even begin to speculate on when exactly my confirmation date is, or was. I only know that I was confirmed.

The only anniversary I seem to be able to remember right now is that next week, on the twentieth, is the one year anniversary of "Serenity" coming out on DVD, which is of course when I first saw it. HA.

I'll have to look up my conf. date.
