Sod's Law is at work again
Sunday, February 4, 2007

Hi there,

I started my special subject on Friday. I'm doing the Russian Revolution. But on the whole Friday was a painful day.

Firstly the bus to Durham was 10 minutes late meaning I nearly missed the connecting bus to Newcastle and in my hurry to get on I banged my head.

The seminar was good but then as I was walking to the library my shoes decided they wanted to cripple me and I could barely walk. Then the book I have to do notes from for next week is only available in the student texts collection which means you can only have it out for four hours, so i couldn't take it home for the weekend.

The I bought a chicken sandwich which really should have been done under the trades descriptions act because i have seen more meat in a vegan's lunchbox.

So after hobbling to the bus station the bus to durham was 15 minutes late, got stuck in traffic and I missed my bus home. I phoned my dad to come and pick me up and because my shoes were crippling me (hey i'm living up to my nickname!), i decided to sit on my file which was really funny because I think people might have thought I was drunk. Or a tramp. But a well dressed tramp since I've finally got my brown suede jacket back from the dry cleaners.

anyway TTFN

Oooh...definitely sounds like a less than fun day:(

Though...couldn't you photocopy the book and then make notes off the personally accessable version? I know I would do that if I couldn't take the book out of the library...

And your situation kinds makes me glad I generally don't rely on buses to get to and from school. Though I still offer you much Browncoat huggles for your agony;D
