Isn't it annoying...

... When you want a book but it's out. So you recall it. Then you have to wait two weeks for it to come in. Then after you have got the book and made notes from it, you find out that another library has it in its reference section so you could have saved yourself the time and effort.

Oh and happy birthday to my mam. She's 59 today.

Let's see....

1) I totally agree with your sentiments about waiting all that time for a book that somewhere else has on their shelves. However, I usually struggle with the issue of wanting to read a book, requesting it from my local library and then lose all patience and buy it from my local bookstore branch;)

2) Wish your dear ole ma a very Happy Birthday from us at the Blue Sun Room! Tis a fine age, 59;)
