HUGS and glad you aren't leaving...I'm not sure why, with our powerful common bond, we are fighting amongst ourselves...then I remember our BDH and how much they bicker..and I know it's ok and we'll all work it out as long as none of us go storming off and board another ship.

Having given this some thought, I've decided that I'll be damned before I let someone else run me off this site. Avoidance would solve the problem to my satisfaction; however, the problems I've been seeing here are like a cut on the roof of your mouth. It's never going to heal if you don't leave it alone. I'll will give it the effort.

For the record, it was NOT an RWE that caused this. It was a regular thread in plain sight. I've never frequented the RWE on purpose. I'm here to talk Firefly or Serenity...not politics.

Well, I'm fairly old, both in real years and in time spent on this site. I don't post much anymore but do visit at least twice a day, same for serenitymovie.org and the Firefly forum at scifi.com, as well as a few others.

It doesn't matter where you go, some people seem to need that space to vent about politics, but I stay clear of those forums, and have no other complaints about this site.

Ahhh, if that's what it is, that explains it.

Real world forum arguments are damaging and hard on folks, unless you really like to argue and most of us don't.

I stay away from the RWED forum... scary place as Anony likes to say.

I can only guess this is another RWED related problem. I say that because I haven't seen anything in the other forums worth getting upset over. I've said it before and I'll say it again, arguing in RWED will get you as far as a hampster running on a wheel.

i don't know what you saw but i'm sorry it made you feel that way. (maybe i'm someone who has put you off but -) i personally have met a fabulous and diverse mix here and been made to feel welcome. only a couple of times have i seen anything really eye stabbingly dumb.
