So i have this question biting at the back of my brain pan... Why arent there any books based on Firefly or BDM like there are for Star Trek and Star Wars and other similar. Theres one i found but its out of print (or so thats what Barnes and Noble said) and it was just a slightly more fleshed out noveliztion of the movie. Does anyone know of any that are out there?

I almost forgot. There's also a fan film being released at Dragon Con next Labor Day weekend. Same 'verse, new crew and adventure.

Principal photography is finished and it's now in the editing and SFX process.

Several writers submitted outlines for a proposed series of novels, but Joss never gave approval for the publisher to go ahead with the deal. At the time I am sure he still thought there was a possibility for him to tell more stories on film. Steven Brust went ahead and wrote his and finally submitted it online as fanfic.
