Chinese translations

I seem to remember a list of Chinese translated words on this site a long time ago. I'm using Google translate at the moment--does anyone have a better site?

I use MDGB Chinese Translator at http://www.mdbg.net/chindict/chindict.php?page=translate - C. It translates Chinese to English and English to Chinese so you can check phrases. It also has a pinyin writer option that you can copy and paste, so if you care about all those ` and ยด and - marks over the vowels, it writes them as well. If you know how to write characters, it has a brush-stroke recognition feature that lets you write in and select characters seen in the episodes, such as on signs. I also refer frequently to Kevin Sullivan's chapter in Jane Espenson's book.

RPGs are Role Playing Games, where you take on a character and then play through the game. Not done any myself, so I can't give you much more than that!

This is quite a good one if you want specific words - or use the phrases as plot bunnies!

I used to have a site bookmarked that was for translations of common words and phrases into either Mandarin or Cantonese. I seem to have lost that one when I got my new computer. However, here is one devoted specifically to the phrases used in Firefly and Serenity - http://fireflychinese.kevinsullivansite.net/

Kevin Sullivan also wrote a chapter for the book Finding Serenity that was edited by Jane Espenson.
